I wish I could give no stars, these young guys came out to inspect our air conditioner, they didn't do a damn thing, we were told we needed to come up with between 10,000 and 20,000 dollars for a new unit, we paid 79.00 for nothing, we got a second opinion and this nice older man came out, replaced our filter and squirted the unit clean and it started working perfect. These people are a scam and I'm happy to pass it along.
They deserve a 0. My first experience with Goettl was sub par to say the least. We first got the rejuvenation where we were told every thing was fine. The guy even checked out our hot water heater, apparently all was good. Not two weeks later our hot water heater started leaking...hmmm. they came in to fix the hot water heater (the one that was working fine) and then there was a problem with our plumbing. They supposedly fixed the plumbing and destroyed all of our sprinklers. Then we got notification from the city that we had a water leak... it was caused by goettl. I thought okay Plumbing is not what goettl is advertising (and at the time it wasn't what they were advertising), so we kept going with them. We got the service so that they can check our heater and our air conditioner to make sure that they're working properly throughout the year. We had a guy come out and check our air conditioning unit he said everything was great he even said that he was impressed by everything that we had in place. Not too months later the air conditioner started working at half capacity. It would turn on and then turn off before getting to the preferred temperature setting. So we called ghetto to come out and see what was up. The next technician that came out (mind you not too much later) said there were so many parts that needed to be replaced on our unit that we may as well get a new compressor. After the guy cleaned the old unit it worked great. But we were still going to have the new unit put in at there recommendation. So like trusting sheep we had the new thousands of dollars unit put in. Low and behold it did not work properly! The AC had been on non stop, but the house was getting hotter and hotter. We called them the very next day and they said they would try to get someone out between 2-5 come 730 still no one. DO NOT TRUST THE COMMERCIALS!!! they have done a piss poor job with us every step of the way. In my opinion they do things the expensive piss poor way, maybe the easy way would have been better.
They canceled on me 2 times because they had more important things to do then my rejuvenation request.
Anita A.Zero isn't an option. I contacted this business via their website to schedule a quote. The quote was scheduled and a few hours later I received a call to reschedule. I rearranged my initial day due to this, but ok. It was rescheduled for today, 6/24 between 1 and 5. Nobody showed up nor called to explain or apologize for this extreme lack of professionalism. This was an enormous inconvenience for a SECOND TIME on behalf of this extremely inconsiderate business.
I would have given them 0 Stars, but they don't have it. I called and schedule an appointment for a REJUVINATION Service. They cancelled my appointment 3 times because others peoples air conditioners were broken. Why do they advertise about the Rejuvination Service when you can't even get one. This company is a total rip off. I'm going to find someone else. I'm tired of getting the run around. Don't let them waste your time. Go with someone else.
Tony O.My WC went out in 109 degree weather. Goettl did the entire HVAC system 3 years ago, so I called them.
As with the instal, they were great. I had an AC guy in my home 36 hours after the call and he fixed my issue...as I have a 10 year warranty on parts. Awesome.
Alex, the tech, was on-time, clean, professional, and considerate. He replaced the capacitor, installed a new filter that I had already, and checked the coolant levels.
Very cool person and I appreciated what he did. My house is no longer 86 degrees inside and I would recommend Goettl any time.
They came out and ripped out a wire, hid it, put a new $500 part in ($230 anywhere else with part and labor), and within 5 minutes, the unit quit working. The guy tried to shmooze me into another part ($200 more) after dispatch told them to come back. Then said I need a $9,900 new AC unit. Misdiagnose all the way, ripped parts, threw old parts away without my permission, and was rude!?
Someone came out and fixed the next day for $100.
Regina Margie M.After hearing many commercials on what a great, customer centered business Goettl is, I decided to book an appointment with Goettl to have some preventative maintenance done on our sewer clean out. I scheduled an appointment for Monday, June 14th with an arrival window of between 1 to 5pm. I was expecting a courtesy call that Monday morning to confirm the appointment, but did not receive one. By 2pm I had not heard anything, so I called Goettl to make sure we were on their schedule. The person I spoke with confirmed that we were the last call of the day and that someone would be at our house today. About an hour and a half later I get a call from Goettl informing me that they would not be able to make it today and could we reschedule? I was not happy at this point but figured if they could come by the next morning, that would be fine. WELL, they were already booked for Tuesday morning, but they were available Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. SOOOO, in order to accommodate THEIR schedule I had to juggle some appointments on my calendar in order to be able to take the Wednesday morning appointment, (I could not rearrange my Tuesday afternoon). Let's see if they actually show up on Wednesday. I may improve my review once they actually come do the work but until then, I am convinced the commercials are all talk and not really true! Time will tell...
Darla O.Don't fall for the service contract! Came out to service my heater and AC and the tech actually broke my heater and never touched my AC. Coldest nights of the year and they wouldn't send anyone to fix it until the following week. The tech that came said it was tech error. I must say the front office people and some of the techs are very polite. But the ones that broke my heater were too inconsiderate and pushy. While the second technician was here fixing my heater I asked if he could fix my toilet handle he came inside with the handle and told me the office said that'll be $80! Forget that! I canceled my contract and it took weeks to get my refund as they continued to charge me for two more months.
I paid for the service to have AC and heater maintenance. The technician came and was somewhat unprofessional, we could hear him talking on his phone to his coworker how he has never seen an AC unit as old as ours, to which to coworker responded to ask if he was going to try to sell us a new one. The conversation went on to his weekend plans that were definitely not AC related. The maintenance that was done seemed to be basically that he hosed down our AC unit. I was also told that I would be emailed a report of all the findings, which I have yet to receive.
