this company is very over priced and be careful what you sign..as they put me on a monthly maintenance plan but i was never told there was a 120.00 cancellation fee ...i had to be on the plan for 2 years!!! they came to check my furnace which we bought from them for a fortune and was told my hot water heater is bad...not true!! they said it was at least 8 years old...not true!! i got a second opinion and was told its not leaking as i was told and it is only 3-4 years old and in good condition. they wanted 4400.00 for hot water installation!! outrageous!!! they just wanted to make more money off of me!! i had to cancel the monthly fee to get rid of them of 120.00...at 19.99 a month they could have made alot more money off of me...they are very dishonest and i am sure i overpaid for my new air condition system and heating system. never again!! be aware of their contract crap cancellation fees!!

This company is awful and only partially completed job of replacing my old furnace. The furnace filter box was not changed to match the new furnace. So now the filter size is not appropriate for the air flow power of the new modern furnace. The old filter box holds a filter that is too thin and does not have the structure to stay in place. This filter keeps getting sucked up into the top of the filter box. This means the filter won't come out the slot. I have to take it out in pieces. This is with a merv 8 filter that is 2 months old. Called them and they tell me they did everything right and showed no inclination to fix the issue.
Never had this problem before the new furnace was installed but now I do. And I pay monthly to be on their extended coverage, which is useless to me.
Spend your money with a locally owned company and you'll be happier.

will try to sell you what you don't need and tell you they can't get what you do need even though competitors have it immediately at less than half what they charge- sharpies and don't fall for it -shop around such as savage & son or anything but goettl
i saved over 5 g by doing that

I used 4 seasons since Mike started his business, him driving around in his truck, was there when he got his wrapped vans. Mike was honest and fair, I trusted himthen he sold, the first experience with the new company was for a seasonal cleaning of the sisters, last year I think, by the time the guy left, told me I needed new systems, a vent hole in the kitchen, new water heater, as a result I felt scammed and dropped the company.now needing a cleaning for winter, but won't use these guys! I'm sorry Mike, who is GM, wish you hadn't sold

This company uses very deceptive sales practices. I have a monthly subscription to cover HVAC and plumbing. Yesterday after seasonal maintenance on the furnace, I was sent two additional invoices related to an air cleaning system that I neither wanted nor ordered. The total was for over $2,500! Every time they come out they propose expensive extras that are neither wanted nor needed. Then these proposals are followed by an ""invoice."" This is not the first time that I have seen their sleazy business practices.

I was very unsatisfied with this company as they were very high rated. I am new to home-owning and was needing to service my AC after it going out. Moving forward to repair day, there is the tech who I was just plain uncomfortable with. This tech was very rude as he advised me I would be needing an entire new unit and trying to upsell me on a unit of 20k. I was not gonna spend some obscure amount of money on an entire new unit without research or quotes from other companies. As I decided not to move forward he was very rude and obnoxious and condescending. Before me deciding he was offering to lower prices that were unrealistic as the finance department had advised me AND him via phone call (day of repair) that it was not possible. Also noting that during the call they were not very professional and inappropriate when talking to each other in front of a customer. If I was any prospective customer I would research and possibly look elsewhere for a company that treats people better and acts a little more professional.

I called Goettl - Reno on a weekday during the mid-morning hours for evaluation of my failed 27 y/o central A/C system and to get repair and/or replacement quotes. Goettl's field tech, Jef Eusepi, arrived in uniform within just a couple of hours (!!) Jef was not only prompt, he was also friendly and efficient, and Goettl's system for producing quotes and estimates was seamless and impressive. Definitely recommended.

customer be very careful, I have had 2 complaints about these guys going into homes trash talking competitor companies trying to upsell their business the tec that has been doing this has no knowledge of the codes and is trying to charge customers to fix issues that don't need to be fixed telling them their water heaters are not up to code when they are up to code it is very unprofessional and disrespectful to carry out these acts. It would be a different story if they were correct but always make sure you get a second opinion I understand they are trying to expand their business in the reno nv area but the best way to gain trust and business is not to trash talk competition that's been here since day one and not lie to the customers trying to up-sale and gain profits.
