Both our A/C and furnace were on their last legs, so we decided to call around and get a few quotes. Not only did Godwin offer the most competitive price, they were also able to get us in soonest (surprising, considering how many HVAC services are in high-demand around the start of summer)! Both the gentleman that came out to give us the quote, as well as the guys who actually performed the service were prompt, professional, and friendly! I never felt like we were being upsold, and I was impressed that the guy giving our quote was honest about what would fit our situation the best. He gave us a full breakdown of the all services they could provide, but was upfront when he told us ""You *could* have this huge furnace installed, but for your house, I don't think you'd get much out of it, I think this other one would be a better fit"". The guys who did the actual installing showed up when they said they would, and got straight to work! They replaced both our furnace and AC, hauled the old ones away, and were in and out in about 7 hours! There was zero mess left behind, and I felt great about the work they had done! I would absolutely use Godwin again!

Needed a leaking kitchen faucet repaired on may 25, 2022. They had an opening in six weeks, july 14th. Hilarious non-service. Godwin is a company very impressed with itself and your very deep pockets, only. LOL.

I'm not a fan of being lied to. I have heard nothing but good things about Godwin. I've shopped there and had a great experience.

Not long ago my very old bathroom faucet was leaking. I called Godwin and they came out. They said it was going to be $500+ dollars to replace my whole sink because they don't make the parts for it anymore.

I called another plumber, they took the faucet handles off and brought it to Godwin and Godwin replaced the guts of the faucet. The second plumber brought it back and it worked fine. $100.

That's like a used car salesman tactic.

Great job replacing our water heater and a leaking shutoff valve for the unit. The tech worked quickly and made sure to go over the estimate before starting and made sure we had no questions when finished. He was very respectful of our pets making sure they were not around when entering or exiting the house. The price was actually lower than their original estimate over the phone. Godwin will for sure be our go to plumbers in the future.

I have used Godwin as a hardware store - very well stocked! - and plumbing supply store - has all the parts! - and the Godwin Plumbing service. If you are stuck looking for a plumber, I highly recommend Godwin Plumbing. I called them because a hole appeared in my ceiling and water was dripping out. Godwin sent a plumber and found a poorly-installed wax seal in the apartment upstairs was allowing water to leak. However, the problem continued, and another Godwin plumber arrived and discovered a previously-repaired fix in the ceiling was the culprit. The cost for the two visits was very reasonable, and the plumbers arrived on time, were polite and good-natured, and very knowledgeable in solving a fairly frightening problem for a property owner. I will use Godwin Plumbing again as my go-to plumbing service. If you are a landlord in GR, give Godwin a try ... easy on the wallet and very professional!

I took a overhead (ceiling) pipe with a built in flange into Godwin that was too long --17"". It needed to be cut and rethreaded to 8"". The pipe was made of brass but had a nice hex nut on the existing flange that could be padded with a cloth and used to hold on to it while the pipe was cut and rethreaded with 1/2 NPT-14. The person behind the counter wanted nothing to do with it. He wouldn't even check with anyone to see if they felt they could do this simple task. I will never go back to Godwin's as there is no customer service.

Imagine being in the trades (me), and taking a piece of tub shower pipe in that needed to be cut and threaded, only to be told to take home and thread myself....wtf..I know they have the tools and they brag about how Godwin's Got It..I was not impressed with the Sat plumbers behind the counter..

This company is a class act! They are super friendly over the phone, from the person that answers the phone to the people in the service area. They arrive on the day and time they schedule, calling 10-15 minutes before arrival. They requested pictures texted to them so they could see the issue. Tony, the service tech actually shoveled the front walk and put shoe covers on to protect our floors. It's the little things that add up to a place we will call again and recommend to our friends!!!
