My elder parents have used this company for central air conditioning services and oil burner services. The act very professional and courteous, however it always seems to be very expensive and they have twice now come up with additional work that needs to be done. They charged my parents $1500 for work they supposedly needed on the oil burner. They were called in for a $185 oil burner tune-up. Two days later, they had no heat at all and it lead to the process of removing the oil tank from the ground and installing a new tank in the basement. That cost another $5000. It seems to me they have taken advantage of the fact that at their age, they could not go down to the basement or up in the attic (a/c) to see for themselves. This could be the case ... or the prices are out of control. We won't be calling them again. Recommended by Home Advisor.
RUN AWAY!!!!!! I had a well pump installed by Go Green in March of 2015 & exactly 5 months after the warranty was up which was August 2nd 2018 the pump stopped working. I called Go Green & they're only concern was to charge me over $300 for a house call to diagnose the situation. I called my plumber who diagnosed at no cost & concluded that it was not electrical but the pump died. He pulled the well pump & to his surprise the wiring was not secured to piping every 3 ft. but 8 ft. causing the metal to show & arcing occurred effecting the pump. The pump had been buried under a pile of dirt & rocks 150 ft. down causing pump to die way before it's time. I spent over $7000.00 in 2015 & called to see if in good faith Go Green could reimburse at least some of the $2500.00 I had to pay to replace the pump & they refused. I have never written a review before but I felt this was too important to not let other consumers know.
E B.RUN! We spent $14k on a new furnace and heat pump 2 years ago and we have YET to have it working correctly after too many service calls to count. Today we came back to an indoor temp of 93 (thermostat set at 75) after leaving to run errands for a few hours. The system should blow cold air, it continues to blow HOT air on the 'cool' setting. It's incredibly inconvenient when you have a 13 Month old! Never in my life have I felt more ripped off.
Tried charging us over $600 to replace the seal on a toilet. Turns out the flange was cracked and quoted me $1200 to replace the $12 in parts. I did it myself.
Absolute WORST at problem solving and now I'm stuck with a (STILL) incorrectly wired central air system in my house. Think about it... $14 THOUSAND dollars
Native T.First off I am a new home owner in the newburgh area and my pipes froze . I called Go Green express and the cake to my home the same day and unfroze my pipes in my kitchen in no time .Phil Giangrasso and Pat are two amazing guys that took their time to explain what was going on and price. Phil and Pat team work got the job done. Thank you Phil and Pat go green express is
Beware this company is out to screw you and get your money they lied to me about not being able to get the parts for a Uv light system . I found the parts online right away for less than 100 dollars . They wanted to replace the system guess with another for 1600 and tried to sell a service contract and a water softener to me immediately after arriving at my home . Bate and switch at its finest . Please do not call this crooked company
Received a call back after my negative review by a hood rat who was displeased with my accurate description of this company and became more of a hood rat when I attempted to disagree with her uneducated attempt to justify the charge especially after the review . Please do not call unless you want to get ripped off
Total rip-off, Stay away from these guys. They are nothing but bunch of thieves I guess. They need to find a better way to rob people I think. Take a look at the quotation they slammed me with. I can understand the reasonable difference between different plumbers. But this is nothing but total rip-off. Within 10 seconds since I posted my requirement in Angies list, These guys called me up and offered their service. How desperate. No matter whether they work or not, you need to pay them a $99 fee. Which I paid and got back, I guess they didn't want me to write a bad review. But folks, we should discourage these rip-off guys and stick to our neighborhood JOE the plumber. Their quote was around $1900 and I was able to get the same job done by $200 plus $100 in materials. So think about it....
Lorenzo R.Shoddy work and fast talking ""customer service"". I should have went with my gut feeling about this company. At first glance they are polished and professional. I was pleased to see that in 2017...especially since so many contractors seem to be walking on water these days and make their own rules to show up or make call backs. Go Green will call you back and they will say yes sir and no sir. However, none of that backs up the work they did to my house. After what was a nightmare installation that took almost 3 days and one very rude installer being reprimanded by the big bosses, the system finally started to work properly. They had sold me on this circuit board that was causing all sorts of electrical problems once installed. Now here we are 2 months later, my electric bill has tripled (and this is a propane heating system)...my propane is draining and I don't even live in the house yet. After getting my very knowledgeable and local HVAC company to come out they noticed that the coiling used to bring water from the boiler to the blower was excessive in the basement causing a giant loop to have to be overcome to get water to the blower... and a blatant kink in the piping upstairs in the attic causing nothing but air to be coming out. Needless to say this 3300 SF house was being heated by sunshine only while the air handlers were running constantly and cool air was coming out. I now have to have the system re-piped properly. I will not ever deal with this company again. When you call you get an abundance of overacting niceties and a false sense of customer service from what is obviously some sort of corporate seminar training on how to treat a customer. What is missing is the ""real deal"" that backs it up...and that is EVERYTHING!
For anyone thinking about using Go Green Express for heating, air or plumbing service, I would think twice! I had them come to service my heat pump, charged $99 service call and a $125 diagnostic fee. The next day had same issue. called them (their work is SUPPOSED to be guaranteed) and they wanted to charge me another $99 to come look at it again! Real rip off!
Peter N.Everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. They arrived when scheduled Jason was both helpful and neat. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced, which he had to come back the next day for. But he arrived on time again and the work was completed quickly and efficiently My only concern was that I thought the prices were a bit high. But we are happy with the faucet and with Jason's work. Tiffany and Patti from customer service 3were both friendly and helpful.
Other than the cost, I would highly recommend them.
Horrible customer service, very rude! Also, be cautious when you pay for a contract upfront because they will call to cancel each time while you rearrange your schedule to make sure you are home during the block of time that is scheduled. This is the second time these people have cancelled and her excuse was other customers were more important.
