Recommended Customer Reviews

Excellent job, and they have been very patient with me about making my payment. Highly recommend!

My husband has been using Graham Maintenance Plumbing for many years for rental properties and now we use their service for our own home. They are extremely professional, respond quickly to requests for service, and provide quality work for a reasonable rate. All the employees have been very kind and respectful and I appreciate the fact that they do a good job cleaning up and even ask if they can help put items back under the sink. I would highly recommend Phil and his team for any plumbing job.

I supervise too many units to count and if I didn't have Phil as my ""go to"" plumber I wouldn't be able to do my job efficiently. I rely on him so much that it's put a stop to the business I used to dish out to other plumbers. Believe me it's not a knock on the other guys but Phil is fair, polite, and will be up front with you about cost before a job is done. Quality of work is superb. He treats everyone with respect (I should know, I'm much younger than him and he still calls me sir). If you don't like the guy right off the bat, there is definitely something wrong with you. All you could ask for in a multi-tool plumber. He and his brother are very organized and really are the epitome of building a business from the ground up. You are first on my list buddy.

We live in a rental house and the property management uses these guys. We've had to have them out several times for plumbing issues and they are truly the best. Very professional, very nice, quick, and have come late at night same day. Will seems extremely knowledgeable, I'm pretty sure he could do this stuff with his eyes closed. Great work, I very much recommend them.

So, I didn't want to have to write this review, because I really really wanted to like this outfit. Let me keep it as short as possible, but I fear that's not possible as I have to refute some misrepresentations and lies.
1. The initial consultation was great. GM was responsive and had well written proposals for the bathroom remodel of a tub demo and pre-fab tub/wall install. I was told they would build out the wooden carriage and ensure everything was done professionally.
2. They were patient with my indecisiveness and answered my many questions. I even considered a tile install after seeing great photos online. That's when my doubts crept in when I found out the tile person wasn't available....I'll explain why shortly. We agreed on a 2 day install upfront Monday-Tuesday.
3. Day of the install the lead contractor was late, 30 minutes, no big deal, but in hind sight, it proved very telling. The subcontractor seemed nice and went right to work. The contractor was only on site twice during the day. That's okay, I suppose, but provided he should be there at the conclusion. My doubts crept in when I asked the subcontractor if he did tile work. ""Yes, I can do tile work"". Do you do it for this firm? ""Yes"". So I wondered why he didn't have this guy do it? Sadly I found out later.
4. Day 1 of the install, the contractor tells me, I think we can finish in one day. Okay, great. Of course, who wouldn't be happy right? Later at 6:30p I overheard the contractor on the phone with the subcontractor - ""Are you still there? You've left already haven't you""? At this point the subcontractor is scrambling to finish and leave by 7pm (started just after 8am working straight through). So the 2 day job became a ""hurried"" 1 day job. I can only guess the worker could not longer be committed to 2 days. The subcontractor told me in the morning he would put up tarp so we could shower that night. Obviously, plans changed and my job got ""rushed""
5. The subcontractor left, I paid, and then we started to look more closely. There was spackle or sealant on the carpet (fine we were changing our carpet that week on Friday - not the next day). There was the same white sticky stuff on our front door, down the hall way and down each stair of our condo unit for 3 levels. Okay, not clean. Then, looking at the shower, the sealant job looked terrible. It's not something we noticed right away because it's all white on white. When I started to clean the shower I noticed it was sticky all over. The whole point of a pre-fab fiberglass shower was an easy to clean tub! It wasn't easy to clean. My wife and went into cleanup mode, with her doing the hardest work, and 3 hours later we were able to relax after 10pm. My wife was pissed.and when my wife is pissed, uh yeah, I'm not happy either.
6. They also replaced the toilet flush with a new kit. The second day it wouldn't stop running water so my wife called the contractor. He said he could come out, but never said ""I""m sorry"". When I talked to the other contractor partner, he did apologize to his credit. I told him I had fixed it so there was no need to come out. I informed him, and later by voicemail informed the lead contractor ""my wife was pissed off at the sloppy job. and the toilet was the final straw"".
7. My wife gives her review with a 1 star. The contractor texts me after 10pm on a Friday night complaining about the review. I had no idea as my wife wrote it. Of course I support my wife and I told the contractor I was okay with the initial job, etc, but the sloppy finish left us with a bad impression. Lasting impressions matter.
8. Now the Contractor responds to my wife's review and says I was happy with the job. Now, tell me, who does this? Who in their right mind tries to pit a husband and wife against each other? That makes for terrible customer service, fortunately for us, we are a united front. Oh, and now he invents an excuse that I was having carpet installed the next day. That's 100% B.S. I said I was having it on Friday, not Tuesday which I had already blocked out on my calendar (and by invite).
The toilet started flushing twice tonight. I'll call my usual plumber (see my review). It's too bad that instead of lying, there wasn't an offer to clean up the mess. I broke my cardinal rule on this gig. When someone tells me ""I'm honest"" I'm usually suspicious and don't trust them. Don't tell me, prove it to me. Never again, I'll steer clear of anyone who has to tell me they are honest instead of proving it to me.
I wish them no ill will, but this is my opinion based on the facts. I was going to let it go, but once you lie our put false words in my mouth, I'm going to call you on it everytime. Buyer beware.

If I could give a half star this is what I would do.
They did such a sloppy job in our bathroom. Too many spackle on the wall and our front door (which doesn't make any sense at all, I guess the workers are very careless) and I have to clean it. The shower and the tub aren't clean very well. Too many glue and dirt and it's hard to get rid off. The owner never bothered checking their work when they were done. He only showed up 2 times and left the workers alone. He didn't called us to check if everything is okay. They change the toilet flange stopper but they didn't do it right. The water keeps flowing and running. I called the owner to tell him about this problem, he didn't even say sorry or apologize for the inconvenience. Luckily my husband fix it and that we never have to deal with this people again. Ugh! What a pain in the butt to hire such a lousy contractor.
Will never hire this people again. I do not recommend them to any body if you have a bathroom renovation.

In response to your message so basically you are saying that I am lying. My review is very accurate and true. Nothing will change my mind. And your inaccurate details from your response is not going to solved anything or make it better nor change my opinion. The damage is done and we moved on.
Yes this is my prerogative!
When I called and talk to you about the toilet you never said sorry or apologize for the convenience. It is not my responsibility to report everything about the job. You had your chance when we talked and you should have ask if there's anything else. But our conversation felt weird and very uncomfortable. I figured if you'll show up and fix the toilet then you'll see what I was talking about. But we don't have time for that. I manage to clean up the messed that was left behind. Wew! Thanks to my skills and hard work for cleaning up the mess! The spackle on the wall, floor, and doors. Such a sloppy job!
If I recall correctly my husband talk to your brother the next day, and he told him about the mess. Your brother apologize and mentioned that he should've been there. And yes that is the point he or you should've been around while they are working in the bathroom. I was at work all day and I heard that you only showed up two times.
Surprisingly you never came back when they finish to double check the work or at least call us to follow up or ask if everything is okay. We didn't hear a word from you until I posted my review on YELP.
And you know what you did? You text my husband after you read my review on a Friday night around 10:30PM. ""You didn't call him at all"" wow! That is very professional isn't it? My husband has nothing to do with my review, why you keep harassing him with your text until the following day.
You had your chance to make it right. We're done. We paid you, so keep it and move on.
For less than $2500 with 11 hours work ( correction not 13 hours) that doesn't mean you have to do such a sloppy job. You gave us such a good deal at least that's what we thought. But the saying is so true, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!
I read your reviews on YELP, and it's mostly about plumbing, not a bathroom renovation. So there. Take this as a learning process and hopefully next time you'll do better (if you'll ever have a job offer for bathroom renovation from others).
So long and good luck to you
By the way my husband never told you that our carpet is coming the next day. And he didn't say he disagree with me. This is what he said: "" said that I don't lie and my rating is my opinion and prerogative because of how he finished the job."" Please stop lying and making things up.

We had our bathroom faucet leaking all night because I had called another plumbing service and they never got back to me, so I looked up this one in yelp. I called and they gave a time and showed up and replaced the faucet and drain. They were very fast and the new faucet looks wonderful, they quoted me a fair price. I will surely be using them in the future

Didn't have any hot water, so I called around to get my 10 year old water heater checked. A lot of places wanted a few days until they could come out, and wanted to suggest buying a whole new unit.
Found these guys on Yelp, so I called the number and didn't get an answer. So instead of leaving a message, I started calling again. Someone from GM plumbing called me back right away, and happened to be in the area. I explained my situation and he offered to come by and take a quick look.
The guy from GM plumbing came over within 10 minutes, inspected and replaced a thermocouple, and I had hot water within a 20 minutes. He said they're not always this easy, so lucked out; but I still was impressed by the quick turn around time.
Awesome work!
