The manager and her team are incredibly helpful. On Friday, I was having a shower drip and they went above and beyond to help with explaining my issue and supplying the parts I need. Their prices were better than the big box stores, to boot. I know for all of my plumbing parts I will make the drive there.

I have a vintage American Standard toilet that is not only deep brown, it matches my tub and my sinks. When it stopped working, I was bereft since I was having trouble finding parts to get it working again.

Totally unnecessary! Bud at the parts counter had my part, knew a great plumber with the experience to install it (and MacGyver the flush handle) - all easy peasy.

Great customer service, great selection and if you're in love with vintage toilets, this is the place to come

I needed a specific make and model 10 gallon electrical hot water heater. I did my research and found it in the online catalogs, but it was out of stock for several months at every online supplier I checked. Then I found it at Standard Plumbing Supply! It wasn't in stock in the Oakland CA store but when I called them, Cindy got on the phone with me and arranged to have it transferred from another store in CA for no charge! In these times of COVID when every business is having trouble hiring people and stocking their inventory due to supply chain problems, I was VERY grateful to actually talk (not email or chat) with a very helpful and competent business person who help me get what I needed! Thank you, Cindy, and Standard Plumbing Supply, for setting the high standard for excellent customer service in our COVID times! You rock!

I ordered sink rim clips on October 2nd from Cindy but they hadn't arrived almost two weeks later so I called back on October 15th to find out what happened so Frank said he would send them. They finally arrived: twice as much product as I needed. My credit card statement arrived ten days later and I noticed that they charged me twice for the same product, plus they charged me for expensive FedEx service to ship a small box 20 miles when they could have used UPS or even USPS. I ended up paying for expensive shipping for an order that took over two weeks to arrive at my home. I called a third time to complain about the double charge and an employee gave me the wrong number for their Accounts Receivable department where I was supposed to ask for a refund. I called a fourth time and Cindy was unsympathetic to the fact that I was charged for expensive quick shipping via FedEx but I received expensive SLOW shipping and she refused to refund or even reduce the shipping charge.

had not been there in 8 yrs used to go when they were global I think , at any rate they are a full service hardware store , pay little more but your in out and the store is clean and neat and helpful folks . spending my money here HOME DEPOT BITE ME.

If I could give Standard Plumbing Supply 100 stars I would! I called this afternoon to find out if they had a Moen kitchen faucet in stock (not in stock at any other major hardware supply stores in ALL of the East Bay, which I think is worth a mention). They had 9 in stock! I was helped by Adan over the phone and in person, and he was such a wonderful surprise as far as friendliness and customer service go - I was amazed! It is so hard to find this type of service nowadays. I will never go anywhere else for anything plumbing related. Adan should get a raise!

Thank you Standard Plumbing Supply for having an item I desperately needed (my kitchen faucet broke today and I can't use it at all!) and also for having such wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable employees!
