We had a houseline blockage between the shower and bathtub at out home that we had called another plumber out for, however after being unable to unblock the line he called out his supervisor. The supervisor came to the conclusion that we had a broken pipe under the slab and that for between $4200 and $4500 they could solve the problem for us by tunneling under the slab to fix the broken pipe. We opted for a second opinion and called Glendora Plumbing. Terri and an associate responded and within a short period of time had cleared the blockage; a hairball in the line, no broken pipe; for which we will be eternally grateful. She was totally professional and competent in her job and you have a client for life.

I had a mystery leak under my house. THANK GOODNESS FOR GLENDORA PLUMBING!! They took the tine to pinpoint the source of the leak (previous plumber didn't take time to do this). Their work was quick, clean and included offering to come back if there are any problems. I called for an estimate. They were very nice and returned my call. They happened to be booked for the week so said if I wasn't happy with the guy I scheduled to give me the first estimate to call them back and they would come over. I ended up having the guy who gave me the first estimate do the work since it needed to be done right away. But I appreciated this company talking me through what they thought it was and what I might need to have done. Which made me feel more prepared to accept what the other company told me. It's always nice to have a second professional opinion before spending so much money.

We needed someone to check out our water heater and a potential leak. Got a ""National"" franchise company (think green) quote which went from a range with a max. to 125% of the max.! They wanted me to sign a document within 10 minutes of getting a quote to start the next day, saying that I would pay whatever it ended up being. The big franchise guy wanted to take half my wall down and change a perfectly functioning water heater. This is how they add costs and hold you liable. When I said I wanted to think about it - the rep was not happy to say the least.

I decided to stay local and called Glendora Plumbing - Mike was very prompt in responding, we set an appointment, he came and solved my problem without telling me I needed a new water heater! And he even noticed what a previous plumber did wrong.

Had 2 more interactions with this company and here's how they went

-potential leak at another property (visible stains) and Mike came to check them out. He said if it's not damp don't worry about it. Well that leak has become worse and is being corrected. When I asked for only water heater disconnect and reconnect costs, he got rise, calling me names and insulted my occupation. This according to Mike is mine or my tenants fault. You saw the stain, and advised to do nothing sir!

-water in the heater drain of another property. Changed the water heater and it started leaking - spraying water all over the garage in the evening SAME DAY! Mike was busy and said he couldn't come to fix it that evening...I just paid for this! I turned it off and sent my wife and kids to go bathe at another family member's home. Not even so much as let me fix/paint all the damage from that leak...just soldered it and done.

I am extremely disappointed with this company I have been a customer for literally 25 years. They fixed an issue late last year that failed just before the 4th of July. It was an emergency situation and when I spoke with Mike he said they couldn't get to it until after the holiday weekend. The line was leaking so I had to hire another plumber to fix. Needless to say that due to the holiday I paid over $1,100 for a fix that should have been free due to Glendora Plumbing's shoddy work
