I was recommended this plumbing company by family. Discussing the nature of the project I needed completed (new sump pump/ ejector pump/battery back up sump pump) with Bill on the phone and through email was pleasant and professional. He was able to price quote me with products he would supply and/or if I were to supply to give me options without breaking the bank. The idea of working with a company who is not trying to up-charge me and who is fairly priced is refreshing. Scheduling was also easy, and worked well with my schedule. They were able to come out the next day. The technician/plumber Bill who came out to the house was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he also brought and wore the shoe covers and took away the old materials with him. Although Bill made the job look easy, hiring this professional was definitely the better idea. I would definitely recommend to anyone with plumbing issues.

I have changed my rating do to what I feel is being over charged. I have used GP for years and for the most part have been pleased. Unfortunately I have had an ongoing shower issue in which the shower was presenting a leak from the back side of the granite running down from a panel in back of the on/off valve. GP came out numerous times over the span of a few months to figure out the issue as the leak continued and spread. In the meantime, I had the granite walls cleaned and re-sealed, the granite and glass joints re-caulked as well all the hardware re-caulked where it meets the granite, the granite floor mortar was removed and redone, and finally a hole cut in two places in the drywall on the opposite side of the shower wall to see if the leak could be detected from that point which it wasn't. I have yet to have the drywall repaired and the wall painted. Same person came out to try and figure out our dilemma each time. From the start I (who has zero expertise in plumbing) suggested removing the panel behind the on/off lever to see if that is where the leak was occurring since this is where the water developed a water mark which was getting worse each time I used the shower. The plumber did not listen to me and said it couldn't be the problem and to continue using the shower. I didn't continue using that side of the shower. I was charged each time they came to my house. I then started using the shower head on the opposite side (there are two shower heads in the same shower area) and the drip pattern on the leaking side dried up completely except on the floor of the shower under the granite tiles. Low and behold the SAME PROBLEM started with the opposite side shower on/off lever with the same drip pattern happening AGAIN but now on the opposite wall! I called GB to voice my frustration because it was now happening with both on/off levers on opposite sides. I also voiced my frustration that the panel in back of the on/off lever was never removed to see if the leak was coming from when the water was turned on which was what I suggested from the get-go. Finally the owner came to my home to see if he could figure out the ongoing issue. As it turns out I was correct, the leak was occurring behind the on/off lever panels on both sides of the shower. If they would have done this on the FIRST VISIT, I wouldn't have incurred the above mentioned expenses in trying to figure out the issue with various vendors providing their services. I just received yet another bill from GP for parts and service for their final visit. While I agree I should pay for the parts, are you kidding me in charging for a service call after previously charging me for 3 visits and not rectifying the leak the first 3 visits? Bad choice in charging me for service the final time, after all the aggravation and additional needless expenses I incurred, the final service portion of the bill should have been comped. It is time to take my business elsewhere.

Glenbrook Plumbing was not able to help me with my particular water heater, but I appreciate their candor in letting me know that up front and giving me suggestions on how to find a plumber that can help.

I've unfortunately had to use Glenbrook plumbing more that I would like, they've fixed many issues for me - including leaky faucets, faulty toilets, hot water heater replacement, ejector pump failure (2X), clogged toilets (I have boys that like to flush things down the toilet) and most recently a free standing tub with leaky pipes. Bill Jr. Bill Sr. And many of their employees did a fine job. Prices seem fair for the Northshore. They are prompt and dependable which matters most, especially in a plumbing crisis!

I took off of work and waited the 2 1/2 hour window that Glenbrook Plumbing gave me. They called after I left for work and said they would be there in 45 mins. I called another company.

When we called our ""go to"" local plumber to install a Kraus KPF-1602 faucet (replacing the Grohe currently installed) we were told there would be a $69 charge to send the plumber out. We were blindsided with a ridiculously high quote to install a kitchen faucet. Not only that, the plumber seemed nervous and uncomfortable with the install claiming it was ""too tight"" and the faucet ""too high end"" and might require two people.

We called Glenbrook and they did the install perfectly in an hour ($160). Rob, who did the install was friendly and helpful and didn't shy away from a bit of a challenge which turned out to be a non-challenge - there was even enough time to call the manufacturer about some tweaks and features of the new faucet.

Am very happy with Glenbrook, our new go-to plumbers!

Nice work, but VERY expensive.
My main sewer drain had clogged after 30 years of living in our home. Ralph and Alan arrived on time and quoted me a price of $385 for up to an hour of ""rooting"" and $47 per quarter hour after that. They proceeded to clean the main drain and remove roots for over 100 feet. They were polite and professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were at the house for 2 1/4 hours and charged me $645.00. After the fact, I looked up a home service cost calculator program on the internet for the work that I had done. The job cost calculator says that a 2.4 hour sewer line job in my area should cost $160.00.

Very good service! Bill Jr came out the same day for an estimate. He was polite and listened to my concerns, following up with a written estimate via email for the work.

I was able to get quite a bit of work scheduled the same week. The price was fair and they were patient in explaining the details to me. The plumber that came out was fast and straightforward as we discussed the details. They gave me advice on the best way to proceed and left the final decision to me - always a plus in my book.

Really satisfied with their work!

Had the clog of all clogs deep in the wall behind a sink. They were able to get the snake in, around a 90 degree turn 2 feet back in the wall, and open up the line.

I've used them twice, and couldn't be happier. Both times were emergencies and they came out same day and fixed the problems.
Fair price and great service.
