I have been using Buffat (now Glanz-Buffat) for over 20 years. I have an old house with a hot water, radiator heat system. Last Sunday my heat system failed. I called Glanz-Buffat at about 11AM. Someone was over to my place around noon. He diagnosed the problem and said they would call me early Monday morning with the cost of the replacement part and labor. They came to my house and replaced the pump on my heating system around 11AM on Monday. I am totally pleased with the whole Buffat-Glanz operation. I would recommend them for plumbing and heating work because I have first hand knowledge. Even though I have no first hand experience with their work on electrical or A/C I would not hesitate to use them myself.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. I'm hesitant as well because I don't want too many people calling and taking up their time in case I need them again. LOL. Today was the third time I have used them in 2 years (for different issues). As a school teacher my hours are not conducive to most companies hours and my budget is definitely strict, but Glanz and Buffat once again made it happen. Had guy come out (last minute) and unhook old spigot, cut pipe running to yard, and install a new outside spigot/faucet flush to the house. He was efficient, very kind, and cared about it being a job well done. It looks great and works perfectly. Great company and very reasonable!

I have used Glanz-Buffat HVAC service for years. They installed our furnace a couple years ago, which has worked great and was the best price I could find in Louisville, KY. I also have had them do my spring and fall HVAC service for several years now (one of their technicians performed routine maintenance this morning, in fact). They are professional, provide good products and service, and charge a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Hope their service is better than their driving. It was horrible. Driver cut in front of a car. When exiting off Snyder went the opposite way and did a u turn to cut in front of all the cars instead of waiting and prolonging the line as is. I got stuck behind this jerk the whole way there he rode on the ass on the car in front of them. Im sorry no matter what job you are going to it does not justify this idiots driving. He got lucky not causing an accident. This company needs to have this driver review his driving lessons and a constant reminder that when you are driving a company vehicle you are representing that company.

My old terra-cotta sewer line collapsed, they got here in a week (versus 2 weeks, or longer, or ""no call-backs"" from competitors). They had the best price, and did a difficult sewer replacement job like a choreographed dance routine. These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF, do what they SAY they are going to do, and clearly take pride in their work!
Solid experience, solid worksmanship, solid PRIDE.

Really like Glanz-Buffat. I've used them to replace a house full of copper pipes and to install a new water heater. I've also used them for plumbing emergencies and they charge on the quarter hour instead of fixed rate or hourly which is really fantastic! I highly recommend them and they are expedient with estimates too.

Very simply, don't use them. I had a clog recently that solved itself by the time the plumber got there. He told me it was just a pressure thing that solved itself. Between that and looking at a couple of other issues, I was charged $102. Next day, it comes back so I call that morning to get them back. During both phone calls, I told them to call me 20 minutes ahead of time so I could run home to let them in. I get a call from them that afternoon, no warning phone call as I had requested, saying the plumber has been waiting there for 15 minutes and we agree to send him on to the next job for him to return later that day.

When he is finally ready to come over to my house, it is about 6 p.m. He informs me that the job will take two men and will be $127 an hour because it after hours. He also says his boss approved me this and gave me attitude because he had been waiting at my house that afternoon. I told him to forget it and I was done with using them despite the fact that I had them for several years running. I faxed a letter to them to that effect.

I called Drexler Plumbing for the first time ever. They went to this outside drain immediately and had it unclogged in less than 30 minutes. Their charge was $99. I won't be using Buffat again for any reason.
