I must say Derrall is a very good plumber; he is not the cheapest but reasonable for the quality of work he does. He gives the best solution to a problem. And he can work in many areas. The latest project I had for him was redesign my dryer vent as the duct was cracked at the opening near the outlet. He made sure the pipes slope in the right incline to ensure the flapper is open when air flows out and remain close otherwise so pests would be kept out. I got most of the parts ready for the project and he was able to make use of them to the fullest even though not all was ideal: e. g. no elbows, need straps to secure pipe to wood and a 4 ft vent duct instead of the standard 8 ft that would be stronger. He was able to grime the pipe edges for better connections with his tool. We saw very good air flow after all was finished.

FINALLY! We have found a plumber we can trust and who responds in the most professional manner!

Derral Yee responded to our desperate plea for help immediately after we detected a SECOND leak in our home. He carefully explained that due to the age of our home and the poor quality of our copper pipes, a repipe would eliminate the worry of future probable leaks. Derral also gave us a cost estimate for a repipe and explained the leaky pipes could be repaired at a much lower price.

Not wanting to deal with the doom of another impending leak, we chose to repipe using a combination of PEX and high-quality copper pipes.

Derral's team showed up on time and the repiping was completed in LESS than SIX HOURS! This time frame included repairing all holes in walls and clean up!

It is amazing how we take running tap water for granted, but we will never take Derral Yee and his team for granted.

Derral was the utmost professional who was in constant contact with us by keeping us informed about scheduling. He always sent us his projected ETA, and he always showed up on time. His projected estimate was exactly what he said it would be to the penny. He required a 10% deposit and payment in full upon completion and satisfaction of the project.

We highly recommend GK Plumbing! Derral Yee is definitely our go to plumber from now on!

Derral is just the greatest plumber ever. He comes out when he says he would, and he seems to be able to figure out the problem and fix it right away. I do have a Home Protection Plan, and I always have to fight to get him. It's a battle well worth it.

He was at my house today to replace two leaking faucets. Everything is perfect, and the faucets are name brand. I'm really happy with the work he performed.

I had a clogged mainline and I called GK Plumbing and spoke with Derral. He explain what the issue could be and gave me a estimate and then he took out his camera and identified the clogg and started to snake the mainline and removed the tree roots. Derral was professional and stand up guy and I will recommend anyone for his services. Thank you GK Plumbing for a seamless job that could had been a nightmare if I choose one of those other chain company.

I smelled gas under the stove top. D was available the next morning. He came in and assessed all the gas pipes under the house and let me know what was and wasn't up to code. It was very helpful. He explained the way the pipes should be connected. I appreciated this rather than just talk in layman terms.

He let me know what needed to be fixed now rather than some workers that make you believe you need to fix it all right away.

We called Darryl this morning and he called back immediately. He came out that morning within 20 minutes and looked at our problem. He quoted us a price and came back within an hour with the correct tools and fixed our gas leakage from a shutoff value. He quoted us one price and fixed the entire issue and helped us with another issue for free.

We are so glad that we found a plumber we can trust in the Monterey Park area. My sister already has plans for him to fix her water pressure issue, etc.
