Glenn is by far the best contractor around. We have worked with many contractors over the years who have done renovations on our 100 year old house. No one comes close to Glenn. His work is absolutely beautiful with incredible attention to detail. Glenn did our kitchen, 4 bathrooms, and our basement. Glenn went the extra mile on everything he did. The result was better than we could have ever imagined. Everyone who comes into our house asks who our contractor was and can they have his number. Glenn and his crew stay on your job until it's done. His electrician is amazing too. Glenn has a strong work ethic and a huge heart. He really cares about his clients and making them happy. On top of that his prices are reasonable. He could charge a lot more. I don't know how to express enough superlatives to convey what an exceptional contractor and person he is.

GJP Contracting is truly ""As good as it gets!"" and is hands down the best experience I've ever had with a contractor my entire life. Around a year and a half ago my wife and I were deciding whether to sell our house and upgrade or build upon our existing starter home (a small ranch). After checking out and being disappointed with a lot of houses in our price range we decided to explore building up and renovating our existing home. It was then that we contacted GJP Contracting to get an idea of what we could do, how much it would be, what the timeline would be, etc. Little did we know, this conversation would also be the prologue to the story of how we now live in our dream home.

From our first discussion with Glenn, we could tell he was experienced, knowledgeable, fair, and most importantly honest. He recommended we contact an architect, a colleague of his, to get things started and take it from there. From the initial drawings to when we broke ground in early 2017 flew by. As the house started to take shape, Glenn met with us EVERY step of the way, kept in frequent contact with us, and let us know how everything was going. This gave my wife and I an enormous sense of comfort, which you need when you drive past your house and see the roof missing and the walls being knocked down!

Throughout the process he was able to provide recommendations for literally everything we needed. This includes, but is not limited to bathroom fixtures and vanities, tiles, flooring, painting, exterior design, windows, etc. Needless to say, ALL of those things came out absolutely perfect.

Due to the work going so smoothly, we actually decided to dip into our rainy day fund and do a bit extra to truly transform our little starter ranch into a dream home. By the time we were done with the project we turned out 2 Bedroom 1 Bath 1050 sq. foot rambler ranch with an eat-in kitchen into a 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath 2200 sq. foot home with a dining room, play room, master suite with raised ceiling, walk-in closets, and office. Glenn and Griffin are TRULY miracle workers.

Oh...and did I mention he completed all the work within an incredible amount of time? I recently saw Glenn and he asked what thought of the house and the work of GJP Contracting and only 1 word really came to mind - perfection.

I come from a contractor family and I consider myself to be a tough, detail-oriented (arguably ""anal retentive""), but fair client. I'm not big on posting endorsements (I think this is my first one!), but my reluctance is outweighed by desire to help those who are in the befuddling stages of hiring a contractor for their building and renovation project. My view that good contractors are difficult to find, but it is critical to the project's success. The best contractors are the ones who do not need a lot of flashy advertising or promotion, but instead find business through good, old-fashioned referrals.

We are now on our third project in as many years with GJP Contracting heading the project. Our first project with GJP involved renovating a guest and master bathroom three years ago at our old house. The second project was a renovated bathroom at a new home we recently purchased. As I write this, GJP is on our third project building out a spacious master bathroom at our new house.

GJP's hallmarks are quality, value as well as conducting business in a manner that is thorough, trustworthy, communicative and anticipatory. There are always surprises lurking around the corner on a project, regardless of size and complexity. Glenn and Griffin are adept at identifying issues early on before an issue turns into a problem that requires a lot of rework and unnecessary cost. They also use highly proficient subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, tile, demolition, sheetrock, HVAC, etc. The various tradesmen have worked with each other for many years on numerous jobs. They are all respectful of each other and GJP does a tremendous job orchestrating work schedules, etc. The whole team is highly respectful of the home owner and they strive to be minimally invasive. Rare as it may be, they thoroughly clean up after themselves every evening before departing.

Embarking on a renovation project is rife with anxiety and selecting the right contractor can be a stressful decision that can make or break a project. I am confident that you will be highly satisfied with GJP Contracting and you will actually be able to sleep at night.

My husband and I have never been so happy with a contractor. We had gotten a few quotes from other companies to finish our basement when a friend suggested we call Glenn at GJP. It was the best decision we could have made. Working with Glenn and Griffin was so easy. They took care of everything for us with our permits, kept on schedule as promised, were extremely neat and quick to respond to phone calls, emails, and text messages. The quality of their work is excellent and we would recommend them over and over.
