Team came out for an emergency sewer repair within a couple of hours of calling. They came highly recommended.
They were very charming, friendly and answered any questions we had.

The job was done quickly, and the cost was a lot less than I expected.

I will call them for sure next time I have a sewer issue, and will recommend them.

We knew we had a big problem, didn't know who to trust. A big named co.
showed us by camera that our 70 year old homes pipes below our basement concrete floor were rotted. A friend of a friend who was a city inspector for many years suggested using Gj sewer because of their knowledge and honesty. Called Diane who was very kind and knowledgeable . Jon and River were excellent and worked very hard to complete this huge job in two days. They were a tad less expensive than all the other estimates.
We fully trusted that Jon was in control of this huge job but because it was such a huge expense to us (retirees) we were quite anxious. Every question or concern we had was knowledgeably answered.
They did an excellent job and an excellent clean up.
We would call GJ Sewer again if we had to do it all over again.
We are grateful for the them and for the recommendation to call them.

Here's how to lose a customer: have the plumber throw away small but important parts after doing the task, then lie and say those parts were not on the toilet (when I stood there and watched him remove them). Excuse the lie by saying the plumber didn't feel well that day. Assure the customer that he will return and bring the replacement parts. Never do that. Have the customer lose time and money by making two trips to hardware stores to replace the parts (when the parts bought at the first store call for use the ""existing nut"" - which is of course, gone).

It is a mistake to hire Gj Sewer Repair & Cleaning. We hired them for a simple job, to replace an existing Reverse Osmosis Filter under the kitchen sink. This should have cost between 100.00 and 150.0 but they charged 200.00 O.K. we needed it done. Then they would only accept Cash. I thought it was due to the small % cost for a credit card but I think it is so you can't get your money back. The tech replaced the unit but failed to install the Reverse Osmosis filter cartridge in the unite. He said it was an extra. After calling the manufacturer the next day I confirmed there was no extra, he simply failed to install it.
We called the company to ask them to send the tech back to install it twice, both times they said they would. They never showed up and avoided our calls for a week. Finally we had to have someone finish the job. Do not call them. A lady named Diane will tell you anything on the phone but not deliver.
All companies who employ people have issues from time to time but failing to be upfront and unavailable to your customers is not acceptable. If someone does not accept a credit card and you want to use them offer them the extra 2% to use the credit card, then at least you have the option to get your money back. Stay away from Gj Sewer & Cleaning.

The owners are wonderful, but if a younger, big white guy who works there, comes to your home to fix your plumbing, beware! He charged me for things he never even did. The guy he was working with was awesome, and finished the job without any problems, while the other slob sat in the truck smoking cigarettes. He over billed me -stating that he had to use different sized bits (never happened) and charged me for an additional hour.

After a Sewer Company failed to unclog a backed up sewer in my basement, they informed me that I had a broken sewer pipe which would entail a ""Dig"" costing me thousands of dollars. Needless to say, I was devastated! I made many more phone calls for estimates, all quoting me in the thousands until I happened upon GJ SEWER REPAIR, thru a friend. WHAT AN AMAZING COMPANY!!!! GJ Sewer Repair has a Policy/Claim where they charge between $350.00 - $550.00 to come out and ""Troubleshoot"" difficult sewer problem until they fix the problem, or they don't charge you....you don't pay anything! I don't know of any other company that makes such a claim! They also charge much less for standard sewer cleaning.
I was impressed from the first phone call to Diane, who scheduled my appointment and was very knowledgeable of my situation, to the Owner, Jerry and his Helper Johnathan who snaked my sewer, FIXING the problem, and saving me thousands of dollars!!! I'm thrilled! Thank You, Jerry, for your diligence, hard work, honesty, and integrity.
