Gingras Plumbing has been my go-to for 16 year--until this year. I would never have him back here now. Long story, but he bailed on a big quote and told me it was because he had to hear too much from too many people worrying about how much things would cost. Still I kept on. When we finally started all was well. The carpenter he ""recommended"" but I thought he was managing was just terrific. Then the plumbers came back. They made a big mess of my spare room, without asking me. Then they installed the new tub/shower surround, but it's crooked.

Then, after pointing out issues with the new vanity/sink FOUR times, it the plumbing still didn't fit, and they had to come back and fix it. AND I got charged for that, AND for 45 minutes of the plumber going out to get a part that he should have had--he actually said he probably had--to reconnect a radiator. And despite having asked THREE times, the radiator cover does NOT fit now.
I used to really like and depend on Gingras Plumbing, but no longer. And definitely DO NOT use them for anything major. You don't dare question anything, if you do, he'll make you feel bad for even questing. And if they screw up, it will all be ""not our fault"" or ""there was no way we could have foreseen this."" Blah, blah, blah.
Just don't use them--for anything! It makes me sad, but just don't.

Very disappointed. We had them come out after a home inspection. He was here less than 10 minutes and said it was the city's problem with the water line and they couldn't do anything. No problem. They presented a bill for $100. We get their time is money, but it was excessive.
