The girls in the office need to take a class in customer service edict. The office """"misplaced"""" a payment made for a backflow certification and our water was almost shut off. Melissa treated me as though it was my fault the office can't keep paid invoices organized. Next time she makes a comment to her co-worker about the customer who is on the phone she should put the customer on hold; eliminating further insult to injury. Do yourself a favor don't deal with this company.

I did not have them do any plumbing for me, but they also sell hard to find plumbing parts and they will order stuff you can't find at HomeDepot. Very friendly staff helped me find the replacement shower handle that I needed.

So after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Gimler Plumbing is now trying to say there was no smoke at the time they left the job...well they left the job at 12:30 p.m. and smoke was filling the hallway of my condo by 1:15 p.m....they are trying to say it was debris behind the wall which caused the fire when I """"watched"""" the plumber fold up a Crate and Barrel cardboard box and place it behind the wall...they are trying to say there wasn't any damage to the materials that they installed due to the fire.....kind of hard to damage toilets and faucets when the fire was a """"smoke fire"""" which ruined all ceilings, walls, carpets, clothing, mattresses, sofas, etc....they are saying the company I hired was up to me.....in fact it was the company that Gimler sent to my condo that evening....they did all the repairs and submitted the estimate to Gimler for the cost of repairs....again, the company Gimler sent.....and you have to love their closing statement....accidents happen.... I agree accidents do happen, however, I should not have an outstanding invoice which is over and above what the insurance company would pay. I should not be responsible for the remaining monies due..... DO NOT USE GIMLER PLUMBING....unless of course you are willing to chance that you know """"accidents happen""""

When I came home Tuesday I found a strange 3 inch deep puddle of water around the pipes to my sprinkler system. It was after business hours however Patrick from Gimler Plumbing returned my call. He was able to answer all of my concerns and we decided he would come to the house at 7:00 am the next morning. He was on time (even a bit early) and determined that it was not the sprinkler system itself but a break in the water line before the system. He got the supplies he needed for the repair and was finished shortly. His work was neat and efficient along with his pleasant and cheerful personality. I would certainly call Gimler Plumbing again and ask for Patirck.

Gimler Plumbing came highly recommended and now I know why! They are friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and completely reliable. It is important to be able to call a competent family business, knowing that I can trust them to do a great job for a fair price. Now I can see why they have been in business for 100 years!

Wow. AVOID THESE PEOPLE. You would think that somebody who drives a commercial vehicle would know the rules of the road. I was biking down a quiet neighborhood street on the side of the road, as there was no bike lane. I was trying to stay close to the edge as to not inconvenience passing drivers. Then a Gimler Plumbing truck behind me honked at me. I stopped at the stop sign, and he pulled up right next to me, less than a foot from me, almost grazing me. He then told me to get out of the road as he was """"not trying to run into oncoming traffic"""" (there were no cars on the whole street) and asked me if my mother ever told me to stay out of the road... LOL. I think it is safe to say that this employee has some problems. I would highly suggest staying far from this business. As to the employee driving the truck, I hope you find peace one day!

By far the worst service people I have ever dealt with! The owner is horribly arrogant and does not care if his customers are satisfied or not. He put a sink in our house that didn't fit,which he ordered, and put it in crooked. When called on it he blamed the countertop. Now a year later, the sink FELL OUT! He doesn't care...he got his money...but never again. Other people I've talked to about them have had similar experiences. Find a different company...one that cares about their work!

Estimated 1 hour for a job but it took them 2. Sloppy work re-done by a family member in 20 minutes. Arrogant and bad attitudes all around - Charged $300 (2.5 hours) for what a novice was able to do in 20 minutes. Would NOT recommend.
