Our air conditioner went out last night and I called this morning and they sent Chris out and I was told someone would be here between noon and 2pm but he arrived at 10:30am and had the air running within 30 minutes, great job very professional, I would definitely recommend Gilley's to anyone that needs their heating or air conditioning service.

This is not our first experience with Gilley's. We've used them for a couple small jobs like a whole house humidifier and furnace repair. So when we added a mini-split ductless a/c onto our house, we included them in the bidding pool. I never told any of the bidding contractors a preferred brand, although I knew which brands had the better reviews. The estimates all came back with different brands and very similar specifications. They showed up exactly as projected and completed the job ahead of schedule. Their team was as professional as always and I'm thinking these guys are a top option in the Rockford area.

Great service! Furnace broke down and they were here within an hour and fixed it same day. Didn't charge me anything more then the diagnostic call to fix it. Shawn was very friendly and very informative on what the issue was and what he was doing to fix it. Will definitely use them again.

Buyer Beware! We purchased a new furnace and air conditioner from Gilley's Heating and Cooling 4 years ago because my husband trusted ""the old man"". The exact same system was $250 cheaper at another place, but my husband wanted to purchased from Gilley's. Last year, the air conditioner started to not keep up. If the temperature was in the 90's, the air conditioner would run constantly and was not able to keep the temperature comfortable in the house. Gilley's came out to check on the air conditioner recently. The evap coil was leaking on both sides. The part was under warranty, but the cost was nearly $1000 to install the part! What?!?! That's crazy!!! Holy Mackeral!!! The technician that did the job was nice but never indicated the cost would be so high!!! $1000 to fix a 3 and 1/2 year old air conditioner that was under warranty!! What the heck!! Now it is 1 year later and the furnace will not ignite. 50 degrees in our house. This should not be happening to a 4 year old furnace!!
