His fixes are permanent and he will even advise you (like he did when I thought a pipe was leaking, but it wasn't) and help you to find and solve issues. Doesn't get much better than Steve Gilkin!

I hired Gilkin Plumbing & Heating to repair my damaged sewage main in Germantown. They were one of FOUR plumbers I took estimates from and they were BY FAR the best service.

From start to finish, I was so impressed by their detail and customer service. Steve's estimate was the most organized and detailed from any of the plumbers I took estimates from. Plus it was spot on. He took the time to get the proper permits and kept me in the loop throughout the duration of the two-day project.He even followed up with me after the job was complete to make sure everything was working as it should be. His team worked in FREEZING temperatures and never once did I hear them complain.

Stephen Gilkin and his crew is here installing a new water heater.....prior to today...Stephen stayed in contact with me via text and email.....they are very nice and honest.....they arrived the time that was stated..... they cleaned and discarded all materials....It took so long for me to find a honest plumber.. Stephen just finished installing a new valve on our main water line inside the house.

He has exactly what it takes to turn the water off at the curb, when your shut off valve is over 3 feet beneath the ground, half-covered by the curb box. Not sure if that's a skill or pure magic.

I just had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Gilkin. There's not enough good things to say about him and his crew. I contacted him 2/20, and by 2/21 he was at my doorstep before the quoted time frame of 3:30pm. He's extremely knowledgeable, he quickly assessed the situation and let me know exactly what was needed. It was all at a reasonable price with great products used. If you ever need a plumber Stephen Gilkin is the guy to call! I hope I don't need him again, however if I do I know he'll fix the problem right away! Thanks again

Steve and his father have been incredibly helpful to my wife and I on several occasions.

So far he has fixed a leak coming from our shower and leaking through our dining room ceiling, installed a new valve on our hose outside, and installed a water line for our new refrigerator, as well as install our new fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher.

We were referenced to him through a friend of ours, and we can't ask for better service. He even came for service while we were in Florida and our friend was watching the house.

He is pleasant, his work is top quality, and his prices are very fair. You won't do better!
