Our furnace went out in late January, and it was a stressful situation trying to figure out how to get a new furnace as quickly as possible and still manage to afford it. We looked at every option in the St Cloud area, and it was not fun. Home Depot sent out some other company to give an estimate, and it was well over $10K. I looked into buying my own furnace from Lowe's, and hiring a handyman to hook it up, which would leave us with no warranty and probably a questionable product.

Then I found Gilk in Richmond. I emailed them through their website, and received a reply the very next morning. They asked for pictures of my existing furnace, and then gave me a quote via email for both installing a furnace I purchase on my own, but also for installing a good Rheem furnace of theirs that would suit our needs perfectly. They were SO affordable, I was able to go with their Rheem furnace and have them install it, which included a lengthy warranty, too.

This was such a huge relief, and they were out the very next morning and had the job all done by noon. They were great to work with, very professional and accommodating. They saved us. From now on, I will tell anyone I know that needs any HVAC work done to at least check with Gilk. I don't think I've ever written a review before, but I had to because this place was so great to us.

My water heater broke. Got serviced within a day. Plumber and helper came as a tight fit in our utility room. My replacement water heater has 6 year warranty. Afterwards compared pricing for the plumbers time and quite a bit cheaper than nearby larger city. Great Job!

Terrible customer service, had them out on Wednesday. First tech could not solve issue, left without saying anything. Had to call shop to get another plumber out.

Second plumber cleaned drains but never communicated what they did to either my wife or me.

Also left a lot standing water on basement floor!
