Had Jake come to my 3 year old home a year ago to give me price on installing well for irrigation only. Still have not heard from them AT ALL
Not very good business at all I'll be finding a different company for sure
Had Steve out from Gildersleeve today and they are amazing! Saved me a ton of money by replacing a few parts on my pump instead of just up selling a whole new pump. Honesty goes a long way! They were able to get to me fast, called when they were 20 mins out, and showed up ready to figure it out and fix the issue. Highly recommend.
He went above and beyond showing me what was wrong and what to look out for in the future. Not to mention he is a vet!!!
David E.Gildersleeve just finished fixing my system quickly and professionally. I called them for a second opinion after another local company told me I needed an entirely new compressor, with quotes from 6-$18K. Their outstanding Lead HVAC Technician Chris Baker just explained why everything they told me was incorrect, fixed the minor issue the other company missed entirely, and demonstrated his comprehensive expertise as well as highly effective customer service skills. Thank you, Chris and Gildersleeve. Looking forward to many years of using your quality services.
Nailah I.I've never used this place personally. But I was on I-264 today and one of their drivers was driving like a bat out of hell. I swear I saw dude have NO hands on the wheel and swerving more than once. I could literally see him driving with his elbows. Not to mention he was on the phone while driving. He was also right on my bumper and there were many times where I felt like he was going to hit my car. I tried looking for a ""how's my driving sign"" but I didn't see one so that's why I'm writing a review. You can drive however I. Your personal vehicle, but when you're on company time, your drivers should be driving in a way that represents the company in a good manner. If the employees are reckless drivers, who knows what else they are reckless at.
Robert L.When they come to do work they're competent and professional. The issue is trying to get an appointment in the first place. Despite having a contract for twice annual inspections and services, which we've already paid for, they keep pushing our appointment back by 4 weeks at a time. I realize this is a busy time of year for them but as loyal customers that have spent thousands with them, we're put at the bottom of the list.
They offered to push back our contract dates in case our next appointment (one month from now) gets pushed again. What's the point in even having an agreement with them if they never get to our house?
Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your geothermal needs. A company that can't keep appointments with loyal customers is not worth working with.
Larry B.We had geothermal in 2 previous homes. This place came with heatpumps. After they developed freon leaks, we Investigated switching to geothermal. Got 3 estimates. Gildersleeve was most expensive, but they also wanted to change out the duct work, as the builder didn't have standard duct work, and they provided 5 years service and guarantee. We have 2 systems. 1vupstairs, 1 down. The downstairs unit is bulletproof, no faults, can't hear it running inside the house, kerps warm and cool efficiently and quiet. Upstairs unit had perpetual problems. True to their word Gildersleeve responded quickly, changing out parts, contacting the manufacturer for guidance. As of now it is working (knock on wood). As the old adage goes, you get what you paid for. Highly recommend Gildersleeve, you may pay more upfront, but their service is well worth the cost in the long run.
The technician pretended to repair our well pump but when I pointed out that the discharge pressure wasn't changing he decided to close the discharge valve. When I pointed out that the pressure didn't change he told me to not tell him to do his job. I inspect ships and know pumps and called him out that the pressure should have increased when closing the valve on discharge side of the pump. Then let's say things went way down hill. The tech was rude vulgar and challenged to fight me. Fortunately I have a witness to his antics.
Called today and when person picked up she seemed to not know what I was calling about. She asked if I was a client before and I told her I was not and that I just needed my well pump repaired. She stated someone would have to call me back to arrange and appointment. This has never happened before, she seemed like it was her first day. So i give her all my information and then get put on hold and another lady pocks up asking the same questions the previous lady asked. Lack of communication appeared to have occurred. So i stopped her and asked if they do residential well pumps because the last lady appeared dumbfounded when i asked her told her i wanted mine fix. I explained that the answering service was subpar and she told me that the lady who picked up her phone was the book keeper Nd that she was on the line with another customer.
Line ended. Lesson - If you staff someone ti answer the phones, make sure they know what they are talking about and how to do it; otherwise let it go to voicemail.
Annabelle P.This company is simply wonderful. Every time I call I'm always greeted with lovely, personable employees. The service is top-notch and they will never try to wrong you. Easy to work with. Extremely kind. 10/10 would recommend.
Amy H.Our job caused a lot of headaches, but in the end, Gildersleeve did a great job and we have ice cold AC. Long story short, we initially couldn't find the root of our problem and it took some trial and error to sort it all out, but we needed a new well and they were able to dig it in a very timely manner. Mr. Gildersleeve is a very thoughtful business man and really wants the best for his clients. I appreciate the time and energy they used on us!
