Marty replaced a drain pipe from my upstairs bathroom that had started leaking through my kitchen ceiling. He was thorough and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I felt his charges were very reasonable. I'll be renovating my powder room next year and I've definitely found the plumber I'll be using. Very satisfied.

Marty came over and helped me install a dishwasher that was a if not an exact fit, 1/10th of an inch too big when the previous owners tiled up to the old dishwasher that developed a leak. He had to replace old piping, clean up holes into the crawlspace and replace fittings and we both had to maneuver/""massage"" the new one in place. Of course he got it installed and running perfectly. My wife is happy, so i'm happy.

It seems like plumbers are impossible to get a hold of in Media and Marty actually returned phone calls and set up appointments that he didn't miss, which is more than i can say for other places in Media and the surrounding area. Couple that with great work at a good price and going above and beyond when doing the work, I will be using Gildea for all my plumbing work in the future.

Marty is very accommodating and understanding. We called him twice on urgent basis and he was there in time. He fixed the issues and left the place clean and clear. Will definitely call him in future.

We called Marty last-minute earlier this week to help with a few plumbing issues we had while renovating our kitchen. He was able to fit us in last minute the very next morning and finished quickly, cleanly and efficiently. He was very nice. We would definitely call him again (and intend to!).

Just bought a new home in the area :) and now my first Yelp review!!! Our new home needed a new water heater and a minor heating fix (one room was getting no heat) and my husband and I decided to completely remodel the powder room downstairs. Not knowing any plumbers in the area we searched online, called Gildea Plumbing and Marty promptly called us back. He walked us through each issue, and provided a detailed estimate for the bathroom. We ended up having him do all of the work including remodel the bathroom, replace the water heater and fix our heating issue. All in all everything turned out great! We're very pleased and would most definitely recommend!

I definitey recommend Gildea Plumbing and Heating. They've been helping me out with my home since I bought it four years ago (including a bathroom remodel and other plumbing issues) and have always been really nice, clean, and finish when they say they're going to. I just had a water pipe break and nearly ruin my newly finished basement, but Marty came and completely saved the day!!
