Gilbert installed our new furnace, a/c, and gas fireplace. Todd, Clyde, and Casey are THE BEST. They are more like friends than business peoople. They provide customer service with genuine concern and friendliness, at a reasonable price. We highly recommend.

My mother used Gilbert to service her furnace for years...and paid for a yearly cleaning every fall. Three weeks ago she woke to the smell of smoke coming from the basement. She immediately called Gilbert and the alleged emergency line never picked up. She called Wilkes and a technician was at her house in less than 30 minutes. He said he had never seen a filthier furnace...odd given that Gilbert's cleaned 4 months earlier. It was so bad he took pictures to send his boss. The 15 year old furnace needed to be replaced...due to poor maintenance performed by Gilbert's. My Mom called to let them know and person she spoke to completely dismissed her...not even an apology. Did I mention carbon monoxide detector was going off as well? Thankfully Wilkes took great care of my Mom. Shame on Gilbert's for taking advantage of an 86 year old woman and charging her for services NOT provided.

This is the right place to call if you are looking for a quality fireplace, great service and a fast/fair quote. Casey came out to our home within one business day from our call, surveyed our specific needs and sent us a quote all in the same day. She is so knowledgeable, professional and extremely kind. I have not purchased this beautiful fireplace insert yet because I'm searching for someone that can tile around the new fireplace replacement. I'll update this recommendation upon completion but you will be extremely impressed with Casey and her expertise!!!!!!!!

It took two weeks before they could make a service call. The day of service, they called stating it would be another week before they could send someone out. The Service Tech was very nice and quoted a bill twice the price I expected. The company requires payment on the spot without the customer receiving an itemized bill. The Service Tech stated it would be sent later in the mail and needed payment before he could leave. I paid the bill and a receipt never came in the mail explaining the charges. The service manager would not return my messages, but a receipt came 10 days later. Parts were marked up over double and I was billed for 30 minutes more than the tech was at my home (road time is figured in at a higher hourly rate). They billed me for all hours at the higher first hour rate. I was finally able to make contact with a Gilbert's employee and they made a slight adjustment on the overcharging. Gilbert Heating & Air will gouge you on the cost of parts, hours worked, make you wait, and force you to pay without seeing a bill.

We chose Gilbert's (Lennox) for our replacement central A/C. They were highly recommended by a friend and a neighbor. They were right!! We had gotten 4 estimates before hiring Gilbert's. Their price was the best! Their yearly service/maintenance contract is lower than their competitors.
Todd and associates are professional, questions were answered, and any hiccup was addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Would give them 10 stars if it was available. Todd, the owner, it's extremely attentive to his customers needs. Got both air-conditioning and heater replaced in our Port Clinton condo at an extremely reasonable price and everything works perfectly. Will definitely be referring them to anyone in our complex that will need heat or air replaced

Fantastic company! We purchased both our furnace and central air (heat pump system) from Gilberts and couldn't be happier. Being honest, we did have a minor hiccup in the beginning with our new furnace, but that didn't stop the tech from coming out extremely late in the evening to make sure we were up and running quickly. I don't know of any other business with that that kind of service and compassion for others. We highly recommend Gilberts without any hesitation!
