Initially when the service guy came out he said we had a clogged line to our heater. We were charged for service call and for his work of blowing it out. $ 180 something dollars. Less then 4 weeks later heater stops working. They come back out only to tell us that it is the circuit board and want to charge us another service call plus cost of board. This would be an additional $382. Over priced.

These folks are as honest as they come, and the prices are very reasonable. The HVAC system went out on a rental I own ( the system 38 years old so not a big surprise!) just as it was starting to get cold. Bill got out there quickly, and gave me an estimate. My husband is a general contractor and when he heard the quote, told me not to bother getting another estimate.The new unit installed a few days later. I am so relieved as a landlord to know there is a company I can turn to that will get work done quickly and for a very fair price.

I just witnessed them come out literally say nothing speak nothing about what's wrong with the a/c. The guy seemed friendly in beginning but he had this weird look on his face. I had to ask the guy before he left what was wrong with it. He gave me a short answer it's the compressor as he was walking out. I asked him well what's the cost? Doesn't even give me an estimate but says someone will get back to you. Thought that was so odd. Now I understand why I seen the person I was helping quote today and it was over $4000. I recommend if you call them for an estimate stand outside and watch the technician. I don't know something seems shady especially the guys body language when he left. Good thing we have cameras all over the property. After what I just witnessed thank God it wasn't my a/c I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They seem like a shady company if you knew that the cost to replace is a few thousand why not give someone a heads up.

I just want to thank Bill for his fast acting on my A/C I had called rt after hours. The next morning Bill called rt away he said that he just happen to come in early I told him what was up he said I'll have a guy there today. I bet if this was another company it would have been a week before anyone could come out this is why I will always deal with Paul&Bill they put my 1st A/C in my house and they will be the only ones that I will call. I tell everyone that ask me that there best bet is with Giddens Brothers. Thank you Paul& Bill and your staff for all you guys do.

My thermostat wasn't working today and I called several other H&A contractors trying to get someone out as we didn't have heat. Called Giddens Bros and they were able to help by suggesting maybe I needed new batteries. It worked! When they say ""free advice"" in their ad it's for real!! Guess who I'm calling when I need a repair or a new system for my home or rental...Giddens Bros in Galt of course

I recently purchased a Regency gas insert for my fireplace from Giddens Brothers. They were vey knowledgeable concerning the type and size insert that would work best and had several designs to choose from. They knew exactly what I needed to succesfully complete the application for the Air Resources Board rebate too. Very accomodating for the installation scheduling and they have their own professional installation crew. The work was completed on time and they did a great job with all aspects of the installation. The Recency insert is great! I would highly recommend Giddens Brothers.

These guys are not professional at all. They charge you for services that they did not even fix or complete. I wouldn't recommend these guys at all. Go somewhere else and save your time and money. Had 2 different tech guys come out and each of them had a different reason as to what was wrong with my AC system. They obviously don't know what they're doing and are doing unnecessary repairs and sticking you with a large bill.

These guys make it happen, I had a problem with my AC, and that day I had service. They took some serial numbers off my unit, told me I was still under warranty, gave me a price I was very happy with. Thanks Giddens Brothers!

The Service guy came right out told us that we had a leak. Put in some dye and said he would be back in two weeks to check to see where the leak was. He was at my house a max of 15 mins. He never returned. Two months later I receive a bill for over $250 dollars. They charged for service call, dye, freon and labor. When we called to question, the man that answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had asked why we were charged for both labor and a service call when no one ever returned. We were basically told too bad, deal with it. I dealt with them five years ago and they were wonderful, efficient and friendly. I am not sure what happened but I will never use them or recommend them to anyone I know. That's to bad that one of our own small businesses in Galt treats customers that way. They make a bad name for local businesses in the area.
