I had a chance to work with Dan from gibson plumbing. He did a great job of explaining everything that was possibly needed, however we didn't actually use his service. The reason I wanted to do a review was because of all the great information he shared and helped me understand my situation. If we do decide to move forward with some water heater work, I will definitely be reaching out to Dan because of the time you took to explain the ins and outs of the situation even though he didn't charge for the diagnostic.

Austyn from Gibson Plumbing came out to repair a broken pipe at my mom's in Sultan. Because of the chaotic weather we've been having in the area they were swamped with so many emergency calls and were running behind because of the damages they found at their jobs before our appointment. Austyn called me a couple of times to let me know of his situation at the other homes and was very apologetic. I reassured him that I understood and it was not a problem. Upon arriving he found that the burst pipe was not in the wall like I had thought it was, but under the house. He crawled under there in the freezing cold weather and fixed the hot water line.
We as costumers need to remember just how hard these guys work in the elements to provide top quality service and customer satisfaction!!
Kudos to Austyn and the other techs at Gibson Plumbing!! They will be our go to plumbing company from here on out!!!

Amazing service!!! We had a humidifier in the attic go haywire and started flooding our attic and two levels of our home. They scheduled an appointment to come out and cap off the line for the next day and set us up with a water damage specialist that was able to come out in a few hours. All of this happened while they are slammed with calls due to the freezing temperatures.

Daniel is not responding. Charged more than $600 with warranty. Started leaking again in a few weeks and Daniel is not willing to come see, resolve it or explain the issue

We had a leaky hose bib outside. After doing some internet research (YouTube), I was 90% sure I could fix it myself. Seemed easy enough to replace some rubber washers. But I ended up looking for a plumber, just in case I screwed something up.

I felt I was taking a risk contacting Gibson since didn't have too many reviews on Yelp. But I'm glad I did!

Gibson's tech, Austin, came out and really knew his stuff. He replaced one part that I thought would be easy. And it was, but it still leaked from a different place. I would NOT have been able to fix it completely due to some hidden O-rings in the spring backflow preventer. He had to install a fresh O-ring in some special way to get it to actually stop leaking. Thanks, Austun, for helping me out with the hose, and for letting me watch and explaining really well what you were doing. Hope I wasn't too annoying. :D And Dave (I think I have that right?), who I talked to on the phone to set everything up, was also friendly and helpful.

They charged me for an hour of work, and it took about that long, maybe a bit more. As with many jobs, you're paying for expertise, experience, and labor (what they live off of!), not necessarily for parts. I think the rubber washer and O-ring probably cost about $0.20 if that. But I would gladly pay the hourly rate again. It's done and I don't have to think about it again.

Best experience I have ever had with a plumber and saw zero cracks! In all seriousness,not only did I find out afterwards, that we had gotten a good deal, but Daniel from Gibson Plumbing was really helpful (even when the owner of our rental was dragging his feet and making the whole process more difficult for him). He walked me through what the issues were, gave me some options and was really kind about the whole thing. I'm sure many can relate to hiring some sort of specialist with a skillset you don't have (hence why you are hiring someone for the job!) and to have them come and talk down to you, and/or you just know they are trying to take advantage of you. This experience was the complete opposite and Daniel actually went above and beyond. For all the women that either live alone, or have a spouse that can't always be there when you need someone to come work on your house, I also know how nerve racking it can be to have a stranger come into your home. Although, just as a safety precaution, I always make sure my neighbor is home and close by if I have to have someone come work on the house when my husband is gone, I never once felt uncomfortable any of the 3 times Daniel had to come by and he was really respectful. This one was a win all around and I highly recommend!

I can't stress enough how accommodating, helpful, and responsive Gibson Plumbing has been. I was having issues with an outdoor hydrant that had water pooling around it from underground, and I had a pipe in the shed that only leaked when I turned on the hose faucet. I also had some general maintenance and operations questions about my water filtration and pump system.

After exchanging a few texts, Dan and Austyn came out to diagnose the problems and take note of what parts were needed to fix everything. When it came to the questions I had, they were very patient and took their time explaining how everything worked.

They got back to me with a quote in a couple of days and came out to repair everything the following week. I highly recommend reaching out to Gibson Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. I already have them in mind for a future project!
