I'm giving Gipson 2 stars. They did a great job as far as the $10,000 in plumbing repairs but failed to finish the job as promised. I've called numerous times, left several messages and sent photos yet they still haven't responded. I have a 4 foot clean out pipe standing in my front yard and a trench causing more damage every time it rains. They also damaged my neighbor's asphalt driveway and retaining wall.
Arial B.I wish I could leave NO STARS. My mother contacted Gibson Plumbing to install two vanities in her home and the jobs seemed to be done well enough. But once she used one of the vanities and discovered the drain leaked into the vanity interior, she contacted them immediately. It's been almost a MONTH and they still have not come out to finish what they started.
My mother (73) and her mother/my grandmother (102) are home all day long and Gibson claims they have come out multiple times and no one was home. Not possible! Neither my mother nor grandmother are in the condition to be fixing what the plumber should have done right the first time. I wish my mother knew how to use Yelp and had seen that Gibson had a 1-star rating. I would have advised them NOT to contact Gibson.
DO NOT CONTACT THESE PLUMBERS TO GET ANYTHING DONE. They will not take responsibility for the work they do and they will leave you high and...well, WET. They don't back up their work and they seem very annoyed that they have to make the trip out. Horrible customer service and work.
Above and beyond. I called to have a septic put in. They were timely, fair priced, and did a better job than I could have ever wished for. They did extra for us, when they could have made the job last another day, they stayed past dark and made it perfect. I would recommend them for any job. So happy!!
We needed some plumbing work done, and we choose Gibson. They started their work, and busted some concrete and dug a hole in our front yard. Due to a lot of rain they had to wait to continue work. They finally finished up work on 4/21/22 leaving all the busted concrete, bags of new concrete they poured, and our back yard a mess. They had to put a pipe through out our back yard and literally just threw dirt on it, didn't level it out or anything. After paying in full our bill, they were suppose to return to finish everything up, level the back yard and get the concrete. We have called the number listed and the owner, and they still have not came to fix this. My son is not able to play in the back yard due to this mess. My husband has called with no response, so I decided to call just moments after they did not answer his call and they answered mine letting me know the boss knows but he is tied up. this is bad business especially for what we paid for this mess.
Had some discoloration in our well water and A positive test for bacteria. The two plumbers who responded were on time, friendly, and professional. They put two bottles of bleach in my well, were there about 15 minutes, and I was charged $349.00. Must be some expensive Clorox bleach. At least I know how to do it myself next time.
This place is a joke. I had called and told them my washer drain was backing up. They come out and tell me my septic tank was full and to have it pumped and that would solve my problem. So I had it pumped even though it had been pumped 2 years ago. Again washer drain over flowed. They came back cut out Sheetrock, replaced a pipe, taped the pieces of Sheetrock back and left. Again washer drain overflowed. Called again and waited over a week before they came back. That following Saturday I went to do laundry and this time septic backed up into a bathtub and commode. I contacted them on a Saturday and on Tuesday they finally show up and he tells me septic is full again and to get it pumped and drains would clear. But him knowing I had just had it pumped it still didn't dawn on him to check septic pump or power source. Had it pumped again, 6 weeks after first time. Went to do laundry and again septic backed up, called again he came back that night and had to snake lines out. This was a 6 week ordeal with them. Had another plumbing company come the next day and within 10 minutes they had found the problem, the outlet that septic pump plugs into was bad. Word to the wise, contact another company!
We would like to commend Gibson Plumbing on a job well done. The plumbers did an excellent job and explained each step of the process. They came to our home one day to look over the job and gave us an estimate. They were there the next morning, and worked until the job was complete, and they made sure everything was working properly before they left. The entire crew was very kind and respectful. We would recommend them to anyone, Thank you Gibson Plumbing for a job well done! Darrell and Teresa Caruso
Jason Burgess and his crew are very dependable. They came out and hooked up our new service within a day. They worked until the job was finished. I highly recommend Gibson plumbing!
Andy C.I wish there was a star level lower than 1. They completely botched my remodel and took me to the bank on my bid. I didn't realize they cheated me until it was too late. They had a handful of days where no one showed up to work and I left my house open and I received no phone call to tell me. They would go weeks without having someone show up to work. When I would call, I would never get a call back. It wasn't until I threatened to get a lawyer involved did I finally get a call back. I would never use them for anything. I am attaching pictures of what their ""finished"" work looked like. They left doors unpainted, baseboards unstained and not attached to the wall. There is one baseboard that isn't even cut to fit with the other side. Stay away from this company. I should have listened to people and should have done more research.
I called to get an estimate on replacing a water heater. The person who came to the house took one look at the water heater and said that it was against code to have a tanked water heater where mine was located, because it was near the electrical panel. He said the only type he could install there would be a tank-less model and it would cost $4500! I thanked him for his time and called a friend who is a retired plumber and he said he had never heard such nonsense. I called another plumber who also said the same thing. I ended up going to Lowe's who had a contractor (plumber from a nearby city) install it and Lowe's even gave me a military discount since I am retired from the Army. When the inspector came I asked about the closeness to the panel and he said as long as the panel is accessible it was of no concern. So Gibson straight faced lied to get me to spend MUCH more than necessary.
