So I called Gibby and was able to get a lock on an appointment that fit my schedule. My backyard pvc pipe was cracked and needed a cap and seal. Loved the quick response and the upfront no nonsense tell it like it is. They only upsold if you knew the benefits and did the job quickly. If you want quality service with a reasonable price then Gibby is your man.

I don't understand how hard it is to breakdown a certain price that is given that I personally feel is way overpriced. I'm not a plumber, so when I ask the question to explain I expect an answer. Not the excuse, "It was a lot of work." Unacceptable! It was a one man job yet two others sat chit chatting back and forth of personal affairs the rest of the time. It was unnecessary and unprofessional. I will be doing my research and getting more quotes on the work that I was able to see done. I'm also never calling this place again.

Exceptional service. I called Saturday morning and the job was done by noon that day -- three men in two service trucks arrived. The end bill was exactly the same as the phone estimate, the job was done right, the plumbers were professionals and polite. Oh, they installed two new toilets and best of all, they hauled off the old ones. Pleased from start to finish.

Nice people. But they charged $185.00 for about 30 minutes work includes about $30.00 parts. Ask them about the price of their work before you hire them.

Found out I had a massive water leak at the house, somewhere between the house and the water main. I called these guys around 1:30, they said they'd be right over. I asked how long? The guy said less than 30 minutes.... they showed up in 15! Amazing.

Turns out Gibby's is a father son team, both licensed plumbers, it was neat to watch them work together. With in the first few minutes the son Aaron, asked how I found out about them (yelp), and then offered a very heartfelt thank you for calling them. When was the last time anyone thanked you for going to them for some business?

The dad was very fun to talk to. I must have bored them with a ton of plumbing questions, I have a curious mind, and the dad answered and explained everything.

They quickly founds the leak under the driveway, and did the best they could to minimize the damage to the concrete. They cleaned up the job site and the only evidence left of their work was a freshly poured concrete patch.

My wife offered them some sodas, they in turn showed her their ice chest and offered her one! They are a nice father son team, very friendly all around.

I was impressed about how quick these people got to my home but was dissappointed in the amount the verbal estimate differed from the end amount. In addition, the owner wanted me to give him a blank check to cover the parts! Who does that realistically? Only advice I have is to get a written estimate first because you can not argue the price at the end. I'm a single mother of two and I frown on the fact these people took advantage of that.
