G&G resolved issues left by another technician from Harts, but their charge of over $650 for a simple capacitor replacement felt exorbitant. They didn't inform me of the cost prior to proceeding with the replacement, and I later discovered that they don't even provide a warranty on their work. They cleaned some of the components at ""no extra charge!""

The technician, Shawn, came on time and was very pleasant & knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all aspects of the operation of the heat pump and the various testing and maintenance he was doing on it. At my request, he also took care of an issue with the plastic piping that houses the electrical wiring leading to the heat pump. I highly recommend G&G and will request Shawn as the service tech for next year's annual heat pump maintenance. Thanks!

Lost my furnace heat the previous night and needed service, as I had reached the end of my knowledge to get the ignitor to spark. I called G&G. Suffice to say happy for the $208 diagnosis I then turned down their 1100+% part up charge, or $600 for a $50 part. I expected the diagnosis fee which was done quickly and efficiently accomplished by the friendly service tech, as was the quick and easy scheduling with the friendly staff but an $800 bill for a diagnosis and simple part swap was not palatable for a $50 part I could get locally and even less from overnight Amazon delivery. Making profit is important for a business, I get that and agree expecting I would be charged over cost as they needed to make a reasonable and healthy profit, but callous and incredulous price gouging is bad form, especially when people are in an emergency situation.

I decided to seek out the part and install it myself quite easily. A $268 total cost for part and diagnostics was much easier to deal with then $800+ on my credit card for this simple part swap. I hope they see this review as a wake up call as what they are doing is unconscionable and NOT recommended to do business with.

Today Sylvester and Andre from G & G Heating came to to a maintenance check on my furnace and heat pump. They were very friendly and professional. They did find a part that wasn't working at peak efficiency and possibly would fail before too long. They did a great job. I would recommend G&G to anyone looking for heating or cooling sevices.

I have used G&G Heating for decades, so I was hopeful the new owners would maintain the same excellent quality service and customer satisfaction as the original owners. I am happy to say they do! Today was the first time I needed their services, and in a dire way, as I had a gas leak and the entire furnace had to be shut off. The office staff were great and contacted the service team, who came out within an hour or two. The furnace was beyond repair, and I had only a gas fireplace insert for heat until the it was replaced the following week. The service guy made sure I could operate the gas insert before he left, since the remote control was broken. So nice of him! Within 30 minutes, G&G's sales person was at my house, thoughtfully explaining my options, and knowledgeable about what rebates were available. This is why I use G&G, and why I keep my maintenance contracts current! Thanks G&G!

Once again G&G shows that professionalism, great work, and fantastic customer service is the key to doing good business. I have been using G&G for years and they constantly provide not only quality but great customer service which sets them above the rest. The young man who came out to my place, I think his name was Shawn, taught me a couple of new things about my thermostat, took care of an issue I had questions about, and even rolled my water hose up in front of the house after he was done cleaning my air filters. They are upfront with their costs and worth every penny. I honestly can't say enough good things about G&G but I will continue to do business with them now and well into the future.
