We bought a 1950's fixer upper last year and G&G Heating was the first trade we contracted. They installed a high efficiency on demand boiler that provides heat for our radiant system and also acts as our water heater.

They were friendly, informative, on time, clean, and fast! They've come out whenever we've needed them (as our renovation has required temporarily moving our radiators from time to time) and they've been highly recommended by fellow trades. The only heating company we'll deal with in Olympia :)

I was quoted 119 to have my furnace serviced. After the technician finished he gave me a bill for $250.00 when I told him I quoted 119 he said the girl in the office needs to ask people what kind of furnace they have so this quits happing. BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THESE GUYS.

Ok, I have used them before to clean my furnace and they are friendly and effecient. However, recently my furnace quite blowing hot air and I called them out again. Again quick fast and efficient. They guy showed up the next day, took about 30 minutes to figure out the problem and fixed it wiht an electrical component swap.

So here is my gripe. They charged 89 for the service trip which was acceptible to me. But then they charged roughly 400 dollars for the component and install. Not knowing any better I accepted it for wat it was. What choice did I have? No heat and price shop or have it fixed.

The next day I decided to price the part that was put on my furnice. It was only 100 bucks online. I understand the business needs to mark up their price to make money but 300+ percent is crazy. Especially since it took all of 30 minutes to diagnose and plug in the new part.

Called them after I got the formal bill and asked about their markup. They just said it was their flat rate pricing. What a crock. I liked their service, but will never use a company that marks up their components that much without giving me a quote ahead of time.

We had a rather large remodel proect. Involved the installation of both multiple ductless heat exchangers and multiple propane appliances. Gary spent a considerable amount of time researching the proect, navigating ""the county"" (permits), helping us get set up with the rebates from the energy company and designing and fabricating a big surround for the opening to the propane fireplace insert! His work is excemplary! The G and G technicians are professional and do wonderful work. Marna (in the office) provides great ideas and customer service.
If you want the job done properly, in a timely manner and a REALLY fair price...

G&G Heating came in and installed our A/C unit for us and the work was done proficiently and expertly. The bid for the job was very reasonable when compared to the other companies that gave us bids.
Our home is nice and cool in the summertime now and the unit has been in our home for about 5 years. Only once did we need to have someone come out for a ""problem"", and it was handled quickly and easily. A very good company owned by a wonderful family, we highly recommend them.

This is the second emergency we have had to call G & G out for, the first time was right after New Year's when we lost our heat. We were on a huge waiting list with our regular company and were freezing! We gave G&G a call and have never looked back! They made sure everything was working before leaving, which was good because the fan motor needed to be replaced. Now, with some hot weather, our air conditioning was not going on, so out they came with their courteous and capable serviceman. Extremely satisfied and impressed with this company, can't say enough good things.

Excellent customer service. I called for a second estimate/appraisal, and the tech, Mike, called me back recommending another company for the problems I was having as reported by another company. He explained to me that, although he'd love my business, he wasn't going to have me double-charged for a job one company could do. He also diagnosed another problem he found from another company's installation of a newly-installed furnace. I called the other company, told them the issue, and they promptly came out and fixed the issue G&G found. I will definately call G&G in the future for any heating or air conditioning problems I have. I loved the honesty and integrity this company showed. I wish I would have called them for the new furnace.
