I was first introduced to GFC Builders owner, Ben, while visiting my brother during one of his home remodels. At that time, more than 10 years ago, my brother was having multiple projects completed at his home, one of which was upgrading / replacing electrical wiring, outlets, and switches throughout the home.

Prior to GFC Builders, my brother had used a different contractor. The previous contractor, for reasons unknown, abandoned the project and left my brother feeling stressed and anxious as so many tasks where unfinished and needed to be completed by a licensed contractor in order to pass inspection. It's at this point, Ben enters the picture. Ben was incredible! He took the time to review the project, informed my brother of the mistakes the prior contractor made, presented my brother with options without pressuring him to make a decision, and helped my brother understand the changes needed in order to pass inspection. Ben's calm demeanor, kind heart, and willingness to explain the project in terms a home owner can understand, gave my brother the utmost confidence in GFC Builders and Ben's ability to correct /complete the home remodel.

A few months after the project was completed, I contacted Ben to request a quote on framing and electrical work that I needed in the upstairs loft in my home. Ben came to assess the job, explained his process and timeline with a teachers heart, and helped me to understand the scope of the job. For a moment, my mind struggled to comprehend whether or not this guy was for real. I mean, I had seen how he spoke with my brother at his job site and saw the quality of his work, but I still struggled to comprehend that this is actually Ben! He's a man of faith who has a strong commitment to his friends and always elevates his families needs over his own. Ben honors his clients in that he takes time to ensure that that the client understands the job, the job process, and the scope of work, but in addition to that, Ben encourages his clients to speak with him to address any questions/concerns they may have prior to / during / upon completion of the project. GFC Builders is the only company I call to complete any of my home projects. Thank you, Ben, for your commitment to excellence daily!

Ben is the best! When my husband and I purchased our house in November of 2021, we needed a complete remodel before we moved in so we went in search of a contractor. We had a very tight schedule as we had to be in the new house by January 9th, 2022. My Handyman recommended Ben who came to look at the house to give us a bid. We got other bids as well but they could not meet our schedule. Ben was able to move some smaller jobs to January and began work on our new house on December 1st. He worked all day and sometimes nights to get the demolition done and construction started. We bought all our own materials and scheduled the deliveries based on Ben's input. Also, because of the time constraints, we hired most of our own subs (which we already had from previous remodels). Ben usually does all his own electrical and plumbing so he took care of the big stuff and our subs took care of the smaller stuff that would take too much time away from Ben and our tight time schedule. Coordinating all the work was challenging but Ben always kept his cool and was always open to changes. He was so pleasant to work with and the quality of his work was excellent and certainly worth every penny we paid him. We now have a beautiful house that we absolutely love. After seeing what he did with our house, a neighbor and another friend have since hired him for their remodel projects and are just as happy with him and the results as we were. I highly recommend GFC Builders!
