Five stars is not nearly enough! Chip and his brother worked non-stop from 1pm to 12am fixing a water leak that shut down two homes at our property in Cottonwood last night. Their effort was truly heroic and we are so grateful to them for sticking with a heinous job until it was done and the water was BACK ON!!!

Back in March we hired these guys to do quite a few plumbing tasks for us. I was expecting a bill of about 500, but they charged us double that.

One of the things they did was put a new filter in our well pump. Well, it turned out it was the wrong one because after they came, our water pressure would go to near zero when the sprinklers were running. We called and called and kept being told they would come, but they never did. Finally in early June they came back. Quite a bit of our grass was dead by then along with some other plants as a direct result of their inaction.

When they came back, he discovered it was the wrong filter and said he'd be right back with a new one. Then he said he'd have to order one and that it would take a few days to come in. He has never come back in the 6 weeks since that happened. We keep calling and talking to Chip. Just a couple days ago Chip said his brother would come back that afternoon. Surprise, surprise, he didn't show up.

I'm disgusted by the utter lack of service from these guys and so frustrated that they messed up our water system and still have yet to fix it. Oh, six weeks ago he took out the sand filter, so there's no filter at all now. I have no idea what damage that might be doing to our system.

To their credit, the other work they did, which included installing a new disposal, fixing a leaking toilet, and various other tasks, was fine. That's what the second star is for.

Chip Geter has been providing outstanding service for any plumbing problems we incur and we've lived in the Village since 1983. Anyone who gives a one star review is simply pushing someone else's services. Chip is fair and available when needed. His work is excellent and he stands by it. He has often been available at a moment's notice and is well respected among long time residents

When it comes to plumbing, there are many choices in Sedona. I highly recommend Chip Geter and his brother. This is a family business going back two generations. They recently did three plumbing jobs at our home in VOC on the same day. We had an emergency with a leaking toilet, and they came to our house within the hour. There was a callback on one of the jobs, and it was fixed promptly. You know in advance exactly what you are going to pay, with no hidden extras. It doesn't get better than this. Highly recommended! I had LPG gas converted to natural gas. This involved digging a line of 100 feet long and 22 inches deep to hook up from the street line to the house appliance connections. Geter Plumbing did a very professional job in a timely fashion.
