I have used this company for the last five years and have never been disappointed. The latest job they did was to replace my sewer and water lines. They did a great job in the least amount of time and the most reasonable price. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

My water heater needed replacing and I called Get Smart Plumbing. They came out the same day and gave me an estimate. Also gave me an optional place that I could check with to have the work done. Came next day with the new water heater. Had the old one out and the new one installed in two hours. Didn't leave a mess. I would recommend to anyone.

These guys were the worst. First, they were supposed to have come and fixed a leaky toilet in the house I recently purchased before I even moved in. They failed. They had to come back 2 days later to ""fix"" it again. They failed. Then to make matters worse they used MY clean bath towels to mop up THEIR mess. When they came back AGAIN they still didn't solve my problem, and asked to use my towels again (I had put them away this time) When they were told no, they asked for paper towels and then left my trash can full of dirty paper towels. I'm sorry, you work with water for a living, and you mean to tell me you don't carry supplies to clean up after yourself? So, finally when they replaced the WHOLE toilet I was rid of these incompetent, unprofessional ""plumbers"". I would never ever recommend them to anyone. The only reason I got stuck with them is because the seller of my home was responsible for fixing the toilet so they chose the company. If these men were any type of intelligent professionals, it would have never taken 4 trips to realize the toilet was broken. Seriously please don't ever use these people. The only good thing about them was the laugh I got at the irony of the name Get Smart plumbing when it's being ran by a bunch of not so smart people.

I had an emergency last summer and was referred to Get Smart from a former Waterworks employee. Bill arrived asap and was able to zero in on the problem. Bill gave me the option to replace the cracked area or all of the line. I elected to replace the entire water line from the street to the house. Bill and his crew did an outstanding job and I am very please one year later with the service. I have referred him and will call again if needed for other plumbing work. Great job Get Smart! Linda

Good Afternoon Fellow Citizens, I just wanted to let you know my experience with Get Smart Pluming located on the Peninsula...

I saw the add in the Phone Book for Get Smart Pluming, and I also saw their saying : Call us first and we may be able to tell you over the phone how to fix a problem, so it could save you money"" Well, this was the dangling carrot for Customers....MMMM, a company offering to save me money, they must be good....Well let me tell my experience my friends. I called Get Smart Pluming and asked them to come to my house to provide a free estimate and as their advertisement says and guess what?

I got my estimate alright and it was written $ 32. 00 dollars for the part and $ 118.00 for labor and oh yes, there was that mysterious $ 59.00 SERVICE FEE on my estimate too, I asked what the $ 59.00 service fee was for and the man named Bill who I found out was the owner said oh, that $ 59.00 fee is for our office supplies. I asked office office supplies, I thought your estimate was free? Bill stated in a mangled sort of way, it is only free if we don't do the repair, if we do the repair we charge you the basic charge.

Sounds a bit twisted doesn't it? Well, I needed the work done right away, and guess what happened next? Bill, the Get Smart guy and owner got nervous as I was trying to hold the flashlight for him to see and told me you d n't need to hold the flashlight and he said he had a astigmatisms (this was him telling to not watch him folks).
Guess what happened next, he didn't even ask me to check to see if everything worked properly, he got his check and left, in his rickety sounding truck.

Then, i discovered, I had to actually hold the flushing handle down until all of everything in my toilet bowl was sent down the toilet, this I was told was due to cheap toilet flapper that was placed in my toilet tank, by guess who??

I had someone that I trusted come to my house and fix my toilet properly...I called the woman who answers the Get Smart Phone, if they belong to the Better Business Bureau and she said No, we are done with them, we tried the BBB and it didn't work and you know, I believe her. I'd like to mention, that if a person is in the pluming business, don't wear white sneakers, yep, you guessed it, Bill, the owner had on white sneakers and they weren't pretty at all.

Finally, I would like to say, I never would recommend Get Smart Pluming to anyone, and I would recommend using references etc. and I never want anyone from Get Smart pluming in my home ever again, especially the owner.

It is my hope that now I gave you some help to understand my experience and that you just GOT SMARTER!!!
