While visiting my Mother I noticed her toilet was leaking . All that was needed was a wax ring . They charged me $200 after I talked them down from $275 . They are extremely expensive. My recommendation is to definitely get a few more estimates before going with them . I'd like to also state they were on time .

We had a clog in our kitchen sink. I sent out some Yelp quote requests. They came back quick and fair with the cost. We spoke in the morning, they came out in the afternoon. They called before arrival, answered my questions, solved the problem and were off.

Can't ask for better service to a inconvenient problem around the holidays. We will use them again in the future for other plumbing needs.

I had a semi clogged toilet and had received a quote from another company that was more than I thought it would be. So I opted out and went for another opinion. I found Get Rooter & Plumbing on Yelp, sent them a message and within minutes I got a response. They were able to send a technician out to me the same day. Andrew was the technician and he was super friendly, nice and informative, told me what he was going to do and did just that. He unclogged my toilet and was able to tell me what caused the toilet to clog and put everything back all under an hour. I definitely recommend them

I had two toilets that didn't flush well and they augured them for me. Their price on the web site says drain cleaning: $68, but doesn't mention the quantity. So that was $68 dollars apiece. Insanely expensive. I'm mad at myself because I could've bought an auger at Home Depot for 15-40 bucks. Looks dead simple to operate.

Then I also had a toilet that had an air leak. It was constantly hissing and I figured it would be a matter of time before it started leaking water, so they quoted me $250 to replace the fill mechanism. HOLY SMOKES! I could buy the kit at Home Depot for $25 and figure out how to do it myself. The guy knocked off $100 and I didn't really want to do it myself. So, I ended up paying $150 for a $15 part replace. I wish that were the worst of it, but it wasn't. After he left my toilet started filling and leaking water. I called the company and they said it was probably the flapper valve. So I went down to HD and bought a new one and put it in myself. While removing the old flapper valve I found a piece of white tubing. Not sure if that got left behind when the guy changed out the fill unit and that was causing me the issue, or not. But at least it is working now, thanks to my efforts, not theirs.

Very disappointed at the price and the results. I totally feel taken advantage of.

Put in a quote request via Yelp for the first time. We had a freak accident where a large plastic piece of my wife's hair dryer got flushed and stuck in the toilet. The worst part is we were 5 min from leaving out of town. So I turned the water off and had to leave for the weekend.

I submitted a quote request using Yelp and got several speedy replies, one of which was Get rooter. Javier was quick and concise and also offered to come out, diagnose the problem, and give us a quote for free.

We set an appointment for that Monday and we were off.

The technician Omar showed up right at the beginning of the window. Unfortunately they couldn't get the object out with a snake or vacuum so they had to take off the toilet which did cost more. But they were very upfront, not pushy, and earnest. Problem was solved and we were all good within a 30 minutes.

We will definitely be using them again

We needed an emergency repair due to a break in an irrigation system that was quickly turning our street into a small lake.

Unfortunately, this situation happened around 5 pm on Saturday, which meant that repair options were limited. Within 2 hours, we called about 10-12 different businesses that advertised emergency plumbing services. Out of them, about half called back and admitted that they have no staff on call in Encinitas ; the rest did not bother answering at all.

Out of pure desperation, I created a project on Yelp and Get Rooter& Plumbing got in touch with me right away (the other 5 businesses on the project list did not have anyone on call until Monday). Within 45 minutes, a service truck pulled in our driveway and the technician, Mani (Manuel) immediately got to work.

The repair was not easy, since the pipe got squeezed by a giant tree root that wrapped around it it. Plus, it was dark, slippery and mosquitos were merciless.

I was very impressed at Mani's level of dedication and professionalism during those several hours. He was great in communicating what the issue was, what he is planning to do, what is happening now and what's next and he did a great job on fixing the repair.
