The service quality of the Get Lit employee was a breath of fresh air in the knowledge he had and his workmanship of putting in a wall socket where one never existed. Also the value based on a competitors estimate was Great thumps Up for the Company.

We've used this company twice now, and we've been very happy with both experiences.

A couple years ago we had someone come out (I can't remember his name, so sorry) to install a level two charger in our garage for our electric vehicle. No complaints there, charger still works great to this day. We feel the value of that service was fair, and we'd recommend them for this as well.

Today we had James come out to help us figure out if what we were experiencing was a plumbing issue. He showed up wearing those blue shoe covers, and I really appreciate that. Not a lot of services do that, but I'm so glad James was considerate with that aspect.

My husband shows James our issues, and we tell him our concerns. He checks several places, and then made his was up to our attic (where we were trying to determine the cause of the leak). Our attic is ridiculous to get into, and a normal ladder isn't going to get you up there easy. You're going to need some upper body strength to get you all the way up. He went up there, took photos for us, checked the pipe in question and when he came down shared his findings. He explained what he believed was our leak source and what we should do going further.

Not only was he being incredibly helpful and patient, he forwarded us the photos he took so we can have reference points and to show the roofer we're unfortunately going to need.

replaced 8 smoke detectors in house. My detectors started chirping about a week ago called this morning - company was close to my house and had good reviews plus my son heard good things about them as well and he works in construction. scheduled for Friday - today Tuesday. They called because they had a cancellation so they came today and replaced them all I am very happy with service and price seemed reasonable. ( I have them saved in contacts of my phone for future work )

Louis from Get Lit is the best! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and made sure we were taken care of! Louis replaced all of the light switches and outlets in our home and made sure everything was done correctly, and safely! If you are needing any electrical work done, I cannot give a better recommendation for Louis at Get Lit!

Their business is made of 2 guys that claim to be electricians but lack the minimum knowledge about this field and professionalism and a woman that answers their phone. Their business is not looking to establish a customer care relationship but their view about people is as a bank account to keep charging them for no service. Despite the ""no estimate charge claim"" on their website, they do charge hefty prices without resolving any issue and keep coming back demanding for more money. I absolutely do not recommend these two guys!

We had an issue with our gas fireplace and had to have the blower and pilot light replaced by Gas Speciality, Chesapeake, VA. After many weeks of waiting for parts and service, they finally were able to come out and finish the job, almost. They couldn't get the blower to operate and told us it was an electrical problem and referred us to Git Lit. Gas Lit came out this past week and the technician informed us there was no problem with the new blower Gas Speciality had installed, they just didn't plug it into the correct outlet. Thank you Gas Lit for coming out so quickly and finding and correcting the error.

Clint came by to give us an estimate and ended up doing most of the work that same day. They changed out 9 light fixtures in all, and were fast, super friendly, and they cleaned up after they were done so I didn't have to. I'm definitely calling them the next time I need something done.
