Believe the negative reviews. On their salespersons advice, I had a Lennox ducted minisplit system installed in November 2022 by an install crew that was destructive unsafe and insulting for $13,000 and it has never functioned properly. I have been in touch with them multiple times per week for almost 2 years now. Most of the employees have been very polite and two of their senior techs seem to be very skilled but they can't make this system work. One of the owners was obnoxious enough to suggest that I didn't know how to set a thermostat. I also believe from a random coincidence connection that they just left an install at the end of the day with a smoldering fire in the attic which they started and then spread throughout that home.

Over charges expensive. Consider my last jpb a charity donation for inflation and hard times for you ampleness and there families.
Garbage disposal replacement. Few rewires few this and that for and expensive amount of money. I would look around and get quates. This is a 5 star company brought down to a one star.
They were on time and polite but the company is way to expensive for any residental person Large companies may do well by them

on 7/8/2024 for faucets problems in bathroom. The service people come on time and communication are clear and polite.
But they promised to check parts availabLility and and notify me. But they never did. I follow Gervais MechanicAl service and never reply back. Only estimate I got is whole bathtub and faucet replacement. Very disappointing!

I purchased a home just prior to covid and had a whole system installed on my first and 2nd floor. I have had nothing but problems with it. My second floor unit has not worked going on 2 years now and have to put in window a/c in the bedrooms . They have sent multiple techs out over this time frame and still nothing is working correctly. I reached out just before Memorial Day to let them know the system is still not working and they said they would have someone reach out by the end of the day and never called me back. I called 3 times last week and every time they said they would have the service manager reach out by the end of the day and I still have not received any calls and we just went through a heat wave. There office staff and techs have no idea what customer service is, and I would not ever recommend them to anyone

I was charges $326 for a $20 capacitor and less the 30 mins labor to replace a battery on my ac. plz be aware of their prices. They were unable to itemize my receipt as well if I could give 0 stars I would. never use this company

Avoid at all costs. They came out and recommended a system for my townhouse and I spent $13k on their recommended heat and ac system. When they scheduled the install, they scheduled it for a Thursday saying it would take 2 days. After two days, it wasn't done, and they left my elderly mother without any ac for a weekend because the electrician couldn't come out until Monday. Once the system was installed it was set up incorrectly because as their supervisor said, ""their techs don't really know the ins and outs of the system. They got it running a little better but the system they recommended is not strong enough to cool the townhouse. I also went into the office and spoke to Marci who said they recommended the wrong system and understand that an energy saving unit was not the best choice for a townhouse.

A year later I call for my yearly maintenance to keep my warranty active and the woman on the phone asked me if I had a mini split installed, which is not the system. When the tech came out, he told me I needed a $261 cleaning, which I did to keep my warranty active. For $261 he sprayed the condenser with a hose and a cleaning solution. He did not take off the top, vacuum anything out, or go through any of the steps needed to actually clean the system.

I told him about the problem we were having and he said for another fee they could come out and balance the systems air ducts. Why was this not done when I paid $13k for a brand new system?

I have called twice this week to speak to a supervisor and have been put on hold for 10+ minutes until they hang up. Do yourself a favor, stay away from these people.

They installed my water heater so far away from my fixtures that I never have any hot water: all of my plumbing is on the north side of the house, and they put the water heater as far to the south as they could.
It takes at least a minute, usually two, before the water runs warm. Since I live alone, I have the option of wasting two gallons of water or washing my hands in cold water.
I told them TWICE where I wanted it to be, and they claimed it couldn't be done--a lie. When I complained, they tried to upsell me with a ""recirc line"" for another couple grand.
Complained to state, but the Consumer Protection folks can only mediate, not dictate, so I'm going to have to file a claim in court.
If you have had a similar experience, let me know and maybe we can expand this to a class-action lawsuit.

Do not use ""gervais mechanical services,"" they will send employees to your home with no license, no experience, and no respect. they will book you out 3 months, to destroy your ceiling, a wall, a car, main WELL water line. Avoid this company. Blind leading the blind.

No matter what their TV ad says, I should have done my research, and for that mistake I paid the price! To make a long story short I felt after the service call I felt used, abused, confused and $500 in the hole with not a penny of the money spent towards getting me to the cool zone on a hot summer day. Instead the HVAC technician performed some kind of check and charged me just under $500 to tell me something I already knew before they even started that my system had a leak. I informed a representative in the service call that my HVAC system was cooling but not to the set temperature and that it needed to be recharged and I had it recharged previously (approximately 5 years ago). The slow leak in my HVAC system could have been something as simple as a loose coupling or fitting but the technician focused on my old out dated HVAC system that was better off being replaced due to it was old and the high cost of repairs and or refrigeration recharge that would cost me thousands of dollars. I know things would be just fine with a refrigeration recharge but they left me feeling I had no other choice but to purchase a new HVAC system so they can fill their own pockets. They gave me a quote but no receipt for services performed and no hard copy or email estimate for a new system install in over a week since they departed. Poor customer service I wouldn't recommend!
