Today I called George Winston in Erie, Pa. and was told that they needed to find someone to answer the call. I immediately called another service and was able to get a plumber. I am not reviewing this company for dissatisfaction, but instead to express gratitude/ When I called your company to let them know I had found a service, George Winston had already dispatched a plumber. Although I didn't use the service, I am very impressed in the response time.

What great service, Lowes wouldn't hook up our Washing machine, because they said we needed to replace the spigot and they are afraid it would leak. Tom was the first plumber to pick up the phone on a Saturday and he was at my house in less than an hour. He couldn't find a reason not to install the Washer. Thank you for the speedy and excellent service.

I had my furnace serviced. Afterwards I noticed that the house wouldn't get warm and my garage door would not work.My thought was that since the furnace was now serviced and clean it was working properly also that there must have been a malfunction before because the house would get so warm. I started thinking that I must have the house insulation checked next spring. When the service tech for the garage came on Wed, November 24, 2021 he first checked the garage light switch which was working, then he asked for the location of the fuse box and flicked the appropriate switch for the garage door. When he did that, I immediately heard the furnace kick on and got excited. He explained to me that the garage, furnace and the garbage disposal was on the same switch. I forgot to mention that I first realized the garbage disposal wasn't working on Monday. The garage service tech explained that apparently George Winston's service tech for the furnace failed to switch the fuse box that connects the furnace back on and that's why the garage door would not work and that the garage, furnace, and garbage disposal was on the same switch. I called George Winston's and all I got was ""I can't believe my guy would not recheck the fuse box and I'll look into it."" I have not received a call or even an I'M SORRY THIS HAPPENED TO YOU."" I used George Winstor for many many years and never had a problem. Is this the way they treat loyal customers now? I will never use them again and I'm advising everyone I know, even those I don't know, to use another company.

BEWARE!!! I live in Atlanta, GA and have elderly (85-90) year old parents living in Erie. They had a plumbing problem with their bathroom faucet so I contacted George Winston Co. Plumbing to assist. In fairness to George Winston they were prompt in the visit to my parents house (next day) and they assessed the situation on that visit. They replaced some parts in the faucet, presented them with a bill for $195 and left. The next day the faucet began to leak once again and when my mother called for guidance she was met with nothing but grief from the owner. She explained that the issue had not been resolved, and wanted to know an itemized account of the $195 invoice (service call, labor cost, parts cost). She was informed that the price was the price and there was no itemization. The price is the price, come on!!! To date there has been no offer to resolve the issue, or any mention of reimbursement. A good business would be there next day to resolve the issue given they did the repair actions. Warranty on the work!!! Where is the warranty (30, 60, 90 days is typical). Another case of a business preying on the elderly. CAUTION is the word when engaging this plumbing company. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

We all know the story - one bathroom, somebody's sick, toilet gets stopped up & overflows, your auger won't clear it and then one of the cats gets sick in the kitchen as a bonus. Also, I'm trying to work from home - wit's end reached! Googled local plumbers & went to the list of Erie's top ten, called the first one. They didn't promise a plumber, but said they would check & let me know. In less than 5 - yes FIVE - minutes, I had a call back & a plumber on the way. Ken did a great job, was friendly & professional & took care of our problem in another 5 minutes or so. I know luck played a part in them getting here so quickly today, but everything else was on point. Totally worth the one hour minimum to me - George Winston Plumbing saved my sanity today!!

Called company on wednesday and they fit us in on saturday morning. Amazing. My wife and I were rennovating our kitchen and the last step was to hook up the sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal. Shane was here early and was very efficient and professional. You don't realize how important it is to have someone come right over for service until you go 2 months without a sink! Great job Shane and George Winston Co.! We will certainly call you again if needed in the future!

George Winston Plumbing has excellent customer service. My 18 month old son was very interested in them putting in the new water heater and Patrick took the time to talk to my son and sang him silly songs (which my son loved). He definitely went above and beyond his job description. Thank you Patrick and George Winston Plumbing.

Had a pipe burst in my house and it was that time of year where everyone was busy but these guys took on the job and were fast. Pat, the main gentleman that did everything was the nicest guy ever. Very satisfied with the work and even had Pat come back and install a bathroom sink for me.
