The plumbers who have come to my house -- one has come on three occasions - are absolutely great. They find the problem, figure out a solution and are completely transparent about the options to resolve it, never ever pushing anything expensive and, indeed, usually finding a cost-savings solution. In one case, I had changed a P-trap but had dislodged my garbage disposal, which then began to leak. My finger was on the buy button to buy another disposal when John, after a careful hands-on investigation, realized that I'd loosened a lock on the GD. No new purchase required. This same approach was in evidence on two other occasions. Couldn't say enough good things about John and also about this company!

I'm thrilled to find George the Plumber. I was struggling to light the pilot light on my hot water heater. Someone suggested I call George the Plumber. I called, and over the phone, Mike patiently and slowly talked me through how to light the pilot. He assuaged my fears and helped me trouble shoot. I could not see the pilot light, so we planned an appointment, even though his truck was going to be serviced. After truck repairs, as scheduled, and with very regular updates on arrival times, Mike arrived to help! I am so happy to have hot water again! Thank you for the wonderful customer service!

He is responsive, honest and gets the work done correctly and always fairly priced. He has done hot water heaters, leaky facets, garbage disposals, clogged toilets, replaced all fixtures & many other jobs. If you give him a call you will be a customer for life. He is that good. I want to echo all the reviews here. Mike from George the Plumber arrived promptly, diagnosed our issues and got straight to work. He found further problems onsite but rather than continually up the price, he worked with us on the spot, more keen to leave us with functioning bathrooms than make $$. He refitted a sink, snaked the lines, all very professionally and quickly. Would highly recommend.

We purchased a 1900 DC row house and had a few items that needed addressed, leaking faucet, rocking toilet, etc. They are punctual, professional, and high integrity. After an internal discussion of our completed work. The owner actually asked if he could double check our basement toilet repair-at NO CHARGE on a Saturday. He ended up working on it for more than an hour to perfect the solution to ensure a long-term fix. So happy to have them in speed dial if a plumber is ever needed.
