With 13 easily accessible locations in Colorado and 2 in Wyoming, GTS is always nearby. We also have 3 showrooms situated in our Wheat Ridge, Berthoud, and Greeley locations. On April 1, 1950, George T. Sanders and his wife Pauline launched a small business to provide sheet metal and other materials to heating contractors in Denver, Colorado. Initially, the business was located at 1111 Stout Street in downtown Denver. The company outgrew its first location by 1952 and moved to 7821 West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood.

In 1962, the company made another move to new facilities at 1365 Harlan Street. Prior to this, the emphasis was mainly on heating and sheet metal. The choice to branch into plumbing proved to be one of the most significant decisions the company ever made. Today, the George T. Sanders Company is recognized as one of the most successful plumbing supply houses in Colorado.

In 1965, land was acquired across the street at 1370 Harlan Street. A metal warehouse with a small office was built on this site in 1966. New product lines were continually introduced, and the workforce expanded. Reed holds the position of Manager at the George T. Sanders Company.
