George Strohm, Dan Grumbine, Tom Strohm were who I worked with. Bought Strohm Plumbing and electrical. Started a pool business and did terrible work on our pool replacing the liner, $7000 later. Have fought with them for 2 years to come and do the repairs. Finally their pool tech admitted he couldn't do the work needed. Dan agreed for me to find a quote from another pool company to have the work done. The company gave us a quote. A month later, we find out the company was filing bankruptcy. From what I hear, this isn't the first time strohm companies have filed like this. Stay away from companies with any of these 3 men involved.

George Strohm did a replacement of our entire HVAC system. The technicians were well dressed, polite and knowledgeable. We've been through an entire heating and cooling season now and the system works flawlessly. Since having it installed a technician has come by twice at no charge to ensure the system is working right. I could not be happier with George Strohm!

In February, while out of town, tech replaced a thermostat & zone valve in approximately 2 hours. Billed $1007 for parts that cost $130.50. We are retirees on fixed income & believe the bill was exorbitant.

quick to respond but charged $1284.00 for 3 hours of work, we priced out the parts at less than $60. Based on our calculations they charged us $378.00 per hour. Requested itemized bill and they just emailed the total cost.

Came out to do a yearly cleaning and checkup for ""free"". They broke a part on the unit disconnecting it and charged almost $500 to fix it. The part cost $50 at most. Do not recommend.

Called for emergency service during a hurricane. i thought my sump pump was broken but turned out it wasn't keeping up with the water. They came back to assess damage after 6"" of flooding. They installed a new sump pump, they fixed the hot water heater and checked the furnace. I've met 6 people throughout this mess and they all have been wonderful. kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Also very fair with pricing. as issues arose they waived some fees.
I can't say enough about this company. I had tried another company on the night of the hurricane and was turned away even though I'd been a customer for over 10 years (I wasn't signed up for a service plan, so that was the reason). I don't have one with Strohm but that didn't matter. they were here in 30 minutes. Highly recommend

This company was quick to respond and make it to our house for an emergency furnace repair. The repairman was extremely kind and pleasant, and he went above and beyond to make sure every single tiny detail was in order. Even though there were some challenges including a brand new part that was broken straight out of the box, the repair was reasonably priced and done quickly. We will definitely contact George Strohm, Inc for repairs in the future!

Called to have a small leak repaired at my cottage in Mount Gretna. Person I spoke with told me I would be advised of the cost of repair before work was started. That never happened. When work was done I was presented with a bill of almost 500.00. I paid it and called to complain and was told someone would call me back. That also never happened. Will never use them again. Total rip off
