Used on several occasions - quality work but OVERCHARGES WORK DONE. To begin: 1. Replaced kitchen faucet-expensive- note the faucet gets loose every few months because screws are missing and not screwed in properly and they took the expensive stainless steel spray hose; 2. Water heater replacement 2018- they were unavailable but recommended a firm, which no longer exits and overcharged by 2 times for the price of the equipment and labor, stole the copper piping and replaced with PVC. the water heater failed 5 years into a 6 year warranty; 3. Bathroom powder and extra bathroom toilets - came out for a visit , no quote for for 4 months , had to follow up and overcharged for fixtures ; and 4. water heater 2023 replacement - water heater is under warranty - the tank should be free but charged $1,800 in labor for 4.5 hours of work. Rude given the emergency and where not flexible - who charges $400-$450 per to replace an appliance under warranty.

I had an issue with my sewer line, and I called George Coulter Plumbing based on the good reviews. When a live person answered the phone I knew this must be a reputable business. I just bought my house a little over 3 months ago. The pilot light on my hot water heater recently started going out. Though I could get it to reignite, it would not stay on. George and his team worked with me to diagnose the problem and presented multiple options to get it working again and didn't push me at all. It wasn't until I asked if replacing the old unit would be a better plan in the long run that they even tried to sell me on it.

They quoted me multiple fair prices for the various options, researched parts for my very old unit, and in the end quoted me an excellent price for a brand new top of the line 50 gallon Bradford White unit.

Once I decided on how I want to move forward, they had a crew at my house in less than 24 hours and did the job quickly and extremely well. They even cleaned up so well afterward that the only sign anyone had been here was the new unit itself. They also were perfectly happy to speak to my home warranty company and help me get my claim finalized.

I cannot say enough good things about George Coulter Plumbing.

They'll be my go to plumber for all my needs from now on. They've made a lifetime customer out of me :-)

George R Coulter, Plumbing & Heating, hot water heater needed replacement, we had water everywhere, house water needed to be shut off.
Replacement was a beast, tight space, raised platform of two feet, George responded quickly and had his team lined up for same day replacement.
Our garage was cleaner when they left then when they arrived. Office staff was so nice to work with, can't say enough positive things about this company. Thank you George, Phil and Colton !!!!

Jose & Miguel (?) are the salt of the earth. First off, when they arrived they volunteered to remove their boots when they saw that I had light colored carpet. That was a first for me. They were very personable and friendly. Quickly fixed the issue and gave me a quick plumbing and insulation education at the same time. I will definitely call George Coulter Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

After a competitor came out to look at my sump pump, and quoted me to replace the whole system after barely looking at it, I told them to hit the road and called these guys. José was able to fix the issue simply by cleaning the pump out - it took less than an hour, and cost a tenth of the price. Not only that, but he taught us where to look to see if the drain line was clogged in the future. Thanks, José. You're our new hero.
