I called George Morlan's looking for a plumbing part that the ""Big Box"" hardware stores never carry. They quoted me a price but said that it was out of stock in Bend. However, there were a bunch at their Beaverton location that they could have on a truck that was leaving later that day. All that I had to do was pay for the part FIRST. So, I did.
The part was due in Bend the next day. I showed up the specified time and was told that Beaverton ""forgot"" to put it on the truck. Okay, mistaked happen. But over the weekend the part still did not arrive. Over the course of 7 days, the part NEVER arrived. I did get my money back, but this is abysmal customer service.
I ended up getting the part online.

I walk into the store and politely address the employee sitting on the computer. He seems bothered that I am there. I try to explain what I am looking for and he rudely cuts me off not listening to what I am saying. I continue browsing and decide I will not patronize this place. I go to leave and say thank you and all I get was a ""yup"". I am not sure the employees name heavy set with a beard stuffed into his suit, but I will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Brian is a great hard working pro with a true understanding of customer service. He does the work of 3 people on the floor and knows his products well. he is always working to get you the best price too, not just what you see on the floor. We have worked with him on several projects now and really enjoy this guy.

We were hired to deliver spas to their customers. We turned in delivery sheets to Andy who said he would call us with a credit card so we could get paid. That never happened. We paid our help for their assistance in delivering their spas, yet when we turned in our delivery sheets we ended up getting stiffed. What is up with that? That is not professional business practices, that is for sure. We were there for them, but when it was time to get paid, they certainly were NOT there for us.

I love this place. GREAT, HELPFUL STAFF!
Just cannot say enough about GMP Bend!

We just build a new home and had a terrible experience with Morlan.
First we picked out all our fixtures there - faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, etc. - over $20,000 of plumbing products. Months later when we got to the point of needing things in the build process we would find that Morlan was several weeks out on delivery and would delay our build. So I sourced the exact same products from other places, mostly Amazon and Home Depot, with 2-3 day delivery and on average 20-30% lower cost.
The worst was whenit was time to put the shower fixtures in our master shower we found that Morlan had supplied a different brand and type of rough-in valves that would not support the fixtures, or capabilities, that we had selected with them (they supplied the correct valves for the guest baths). At this point the walls are sealed, waterproofed, and tiled with cabinets installed on the outside of the shower, so tearing the walls apart to install the correct valves would have cost huge money and time.
There were many other instances which left us very disappointed with them. I do not recommend using George Morlan Plumbing for anything other than rough-in material, and I would carefully check them on that.

Had the unfortunate experience of working with an unhappy man at the Bend store. He was rude and only begrudgingly helped me when he realized I had a large order to place. He complained about people coming in to just look at their showroom (the horror!). Ordered several thousand dollars worth of items for job and a few weeks after pick-up I needed some additional help and he made it as difficult as possible. There is a good selection at the store and they can order things for you, but I will never go back. Ever.

We are sorry we ever followed our plumbers recommendation to go to this business for our plumbing needs! We were told to go in and ask for a particular person, which we did and he would help us get the things our plumber needed to finish our bathroom remodel. They didn't have anything on the shelves we could look at that was what we were looking for, so we were required to chose the fixtures out of a parts book ( not the easiest way to chose plumbing styles ) and then were placed on order. The sales person seemed knowledgable and friendly. The order was placed on Friday April 28th. He told us that it was coming from Texas and would be to in either Monday or Tues which worked for our plumber. They were going to give us a call when it was in. When our plumber looked at the rest of the necessary things that we were able to walk out with his comment was, "" why did he sell you these? Very much over kill for our application. Well we never got a pick up call from the company. After several calls we were able to pick up the shower fixture, but the tub had not gotten there yet. Long story short many calls later many excuses later, we were finally able to pick up the last of the order on June 6th. And to top it off there was no apologies, no concern for customer service. We could have gone to Home Depot and gotten better service, nicer treatment, and I'm sure for a lot less money. We would not recommend George Morlan Plumbing Supply to anyone.
