We hired this plumber based on a recommendation from our realtor for several services, including master shut-off valve replacement, and a recirculating hot water adaptation.
We had to call them back several times because of excess air in the pipes and other issues, which they did not resolve. In addition, they left the new hot water return piping uninsulated (we had another company install the insulation.)
When we asked for an estimate of several additional services, we got a list from their price book, with each one including a separate travel charge. Needless to say, we chose other service providers.

My parents 20 year old AC unit completely failed and they were living in a hot home while trying to figure out a replacement strategy. They got two quotes, one from a local company and the other from Home Depot for the replacement and repairs. They decided to use Home Depot based on their good sales tactics and desperation.

After researching the AC unit, they found that the unit Home Depot was selling them was rated 1 out of 10 on consumer reports. So quickly, on the morning before the repair was scheduled to take place, we called George Brazil in Indio for a third opinion.

To make this long story a bit shorter... Randy the owner returned my phone call within 5 minutes (at 7am), gave an accurate quote immediately, personally came to my parent's home by 10am and had the new system installed within 24 hours (the crew was awesome).

5 STAR service for sure! Plus, we saved $750 from Home Depot's lowest possible price and got a top of the line AC unit valued $2000 over the crappy AC unit Home Depot was trying to sell us!

I am now lowering the number of stars to a total of one because I continue to be attacked by individuals that can't read and can't follow instructions or don't know what they're talking about yes my Yelp account is for Arizona but if you whoever responded from George Brazil if you would read the review you would have saw it was for an office I did business with in the Coachella Valley of California.
Then some wacko lady that hasn't done a review since 2011 suddenly attacks my review of your business, was that your mom, as for you George Brazil if you're in Arizona please read the location of my review before you respond!
In summary George Brazil of California sucked!

I can't believe the review by Bill J. He rates this owner/franchise in 2017 based on services provided by a franchise in Arizona in 2009...YELP that isn't right!

Having said that, THIS OWNER/FRANCHISE replaced our AC in home in November of 2012...the price was very competitive and the installation was prompt. After we sold it in 2015, the new owner had and issue and contacted them, the tech came out and fixed it with a change of the battery in the thermostat and did NOT charge her.

Recently, I've thought about taking my 27 yr old system and update everything.

After hitting quotes up to 18k (the General), I feel great about my new system installed for around 10k less!
Perfect for me being on permanent disability (seizure disorder and Diabetes type-1)

The AC went out in the middle of the night, so I found this company. It was one of only a few that service 24 hours in this area. They came out and $425 later the air was working. He said he would have to come back Monday to do more work. I was confused since the air seemed to be working well. I called for a second and third opinion from other companies. Both of them said the AC was working great and didn't need anymore work. This saved me $300 that the repairman from George Brazil said I needed. I will not use this company again.

I recently called George Brazil after my AC went on the fritz. After some problems with ordering a new motor, an employee was sent to install it. When he was done there was no air coming from vents at all. He told me it would cost 1200-1400 dollars to clean coils! I declined. Several days later it was discovered that this employee (Nathan) has installed the new motor backwards, had left most of the screws off the panels, and had left the gas line for heater on the unit disconnected. When I called the owner, he said ""I'm sorry"", and that was it. I would never use the company again, nor would I recommend them. The owner seemed completely indifferent to all this. Beware.

Had a run of bad luck a few days ago where a my A/C wasn't working and had a hot water pipe break. Called George Brazil Plumbing and they were great! They had two technicians to my house in less than 30-minutes. They were friendly, engaging, knowledgable and professional. They worked seperately on the tow issues and finished in a very timely manner. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
