They wanted to charge my wife $600 to replace our garbage disposal. First of all they were there to inspect the water heater. Second of all the disposal works just fine. She asked why so much for an $80 appliance and his response was that includes three hours labor...lol! Cancelling our service contract.

There prices are not cheap. They have a high service fee just to come out. They state they have a free first time estimate, but I needed a price on the installation of a bathroom fan and still charged me the service fee for an electrician to show up. So make sure that is clear before you let them come over. The price they gave for the install was ridiculous at over $1000 to install a bathroom fan. They are very friendly though, and do a very good job cleaning up. I also had a plumber once come over and his price was very high too to fix a broken pipe but it was nothing ridiculous. I give it one star because if you are going to state free estimates on your website then offer it.

Had George Brazil out to install a new water heater. No problems. All went well. Decided to call George Brazil for an A/C tuneup. Service tech said coolant was low and recommended a sealant. Cost was $700 for coolant and sealant.
I believe the service techs may get paid on commision. I thought this price was outrageous. I will be looking for another AC service company that is concerned about the customer and the final cost.

I had an electrical issue I needed fixed. I used a valley promotional website for business recommendations. Of the 3 recommended companies, GB has been in business about 56 years more than the other two. This was my first clue, which company to choose.

I was promptly called by a GB representative the following day after requesting service via the promotional website and scheduled my service. On my service day, a GB representative called to tell me the service representative was enroute.

Shortly afterwards, Gabriel arrived. He was personable, polite, professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He also diagnosed 2 additional issues with the circuit breakers that were a potential fire hazard. Gabriel explained each issue and what the proper installation procedure should've been done by the original builder.

Overall, I am happy with GB's prompt and professional customer service.

Rip off! Had them do a routine check up on my AC. They tried to sell me a new capacitor ($50 part but they wanted over $300 unless I signed up for their service plan of course). I told them to get lost and had another company check out the unit a month later. Turns out the capacitor was just fine but unit was a bit low on refrigerant. G. Brazil was supposed to check refrigerant with their check up but never did. Guess he was too busy trying to sell me a part that I didn't need to do the entire check up. All of their service guys work on commission so be weary of anything they try to sell you, they cannot be trusted!

This company is absolute garbage. My water heater went out so I called George Brazil. After 6pm the service is classified as an emergency, no problem. I agreed to pay 125 non refundable fee. I called at 7pm and wad told that they would come at anytime between 7pm - 6 am. Your math is right I waited 11 hours, they never showed. I called at 630 am, and asked what the deal was, I was told that I need to wait till Monday. If your ok with waiting and happy to deal with mentally unable people us George Brazil. I called Parker and Sons and they repaired my issue 2 hours after calling them. Moral of this, this company sucks Do Not Use them!

I was quite frustrated by the electrician's sales pitch pushing for an extended warranty type service. I said, no..three times--and I said lets move on because I'm not buying it. Finally, when he got around to completing the work that he was hired to perform. It was overall done well.

I felt the experience to simply have an electrical outlet moved that included the sales pitch wasted a lot of my personal time. I had booked the service online which clearly states 10% discount that wasn't honored. Their website also states, estimates are free. When the company representative called to confirm date and time, I was told the service call was $39.95 but that amount is waived if the service was completed.

Personally, I won't be using their services again even though the quality of work was good...not worth the sales pitch to spend more money for ""service protection"".

This is an update to my review from 7-2012. The company Technician, Rose, was doing a routine warranty inspection and discovered a couple of things the installer had done incorrectly. It was quickly ""fixed"" at no charge. Since we are not sure if the unit was damaged due to the incorrect installation, we called to request a warranty extension. Mike F. investigated our claim and agreed to the extension. This is just one experience that hopefully demonstrates the honesty of the company.
