I see bad reviews, but my experience was amazing!! I was referred here by a friend because we had a sudden clog in our kitchen drain last night. Of course it happened while trying to make dinner. I powered through dinner and decided I would try draino first. So, I poured the whole bottle in the drain, let it sit for like an hour and then flushed it out! It wasn't a total clog, so water and such was slowly getting down. When I tried to flush with hot (read: boiling) water, it came back up in the sink. Defeated, I took to Facebook, and my friend gave me the number. It was 8:30 PM and I didn't want to call too late. So, I called at 8 am this morning. A nice lady answered the phone and said the guy would be in North Park between 12 & 2. I, unfortunately, already had an appointment away from home and would be here until 1. She called me at 12 and told me he was in the area. I confirmed that I wasn't home and couldn't be here until 1. She offered to call me back when he was done to see if I was home. She could have easily just written me off and told me to reschedule, but rather she worked with my schedule, knowing he was in the area. About 10 minutes after I arrived home from my appointment, she called and said he was on his way. He showed up less than 5 minutes later. Came in, worked the magic, and less than 10 minutes later the drain was cleared. All of this for only $25!!! Keeping this number on speed dial.
Thank you Baird's and thank you Travis!! Now I can go in to the weekend with flowing water!

Baird's was recommended by neighbor for slow bath tub drain. We scheduled a window
of arrival based on when a tech would be in La Jolla area. The tech arrived in the window, took care of business with in 10 minutes. He was friendly and professional. The lady dispatcher was also nice and professional, had to chat with her a few times for schedule as my schedule was evolving. VERY reasonable pricing.

The ONLY reason they didn't get 1 star is because the cheap prices,BUT you get what you pay for. The dispatcher may very well be the rudest woman on earth, always pissed off. As proven by previous comments on their Yelp. That being said, the last time they sent a plumber, the guy just walks in the home, no call, no door bell. Let it be known, That's a GREAT way to get shot..... In my home. He comes in, immediately begins to use the restroom, without even closing the door. Then decided to get to work on my sink. He banged his tools on the cabinet, cracking the wood and chipping the paint. I did not notice until after he left and I immediately called the dispatcher she told me he doesn't work for the company that he's just a subcontractor I said that's great can I find a way to talk to him she says, I'll have them call you. Of course he never did so I called back and was completely blown off by the dispatcher again.

This place is horrible you get what you pay for it and I would never recommend them to anybody

10 Stars if I could. I panicked when my kitchen sink drain turned into Old Faithful. A neighbor recommended I call Baird and what a wonderful tip. Jaime came out as scheduled and the drain was cleared in no time. Most of the time when I need a plumber it is for a clogged drain and this was by far the best experience and for an incredibly reasonable price. I cannot understand any of the negative reviews as I would not even think of calling anyone else. Awesome job Jaime!!!

This company is AWESOME! We use them several times a year (old house, old pipes), and they get the drains unclogged every time for a great price ($35 and of course I tip). When I call in the morning, they call me back w/ a 2 hour time frame AND give me a 20 minutes heads up call so I can leave work. They're in and out of the house quickly, and then I'm back to work. Highly recommend!

Have used this company for years! Even the Lady that takes phone calls is the same one. She is matter of fact, no BS and that is what we like! Josh is a gem! Ask for Josh... you will be pleased. Excellent work at excellent prices..won't call anyone else!

Great Service, Great Rates!! I was referred to Bairds Drain Cleaning by my Mother so they came highly recommended. Called and they sent CJ out the same day he cleared my sink in no time fast and efficient and excellent prices!! CJ is a ""Rock Star""!!

Same day service, tried to unclog via clean out and when that didn't work they climbed up to roof and cleared the drain in 2 mins from roof. Great service for the price, can't recommend more.

Was having trouble with our kitchen sink. I took all three pipes out and they weren't clogged. So I called our plumber. Are I described the situation to him he told me to call Baird's. I was sceptical at first. I called them 8 am the last on the phone said they would call me around 9 to give me a time they would come by. She called on time and gave me a window of 10-12. They showed up at 11. They were great. He knew right away what the problem was. Took care of it quickly. The best part was that it only cost me $25. I would highly recommend them.

I had an incredible experience here. I read some of these reviews, and my experience was different from a few. This has been the most inexpensive and efficient drain service I have ever used. Some things to keep in mind: 1) There is not really any hand holding as far as the customer service goes. I did find it quick and efficient, but there is no room to talk at length about your plumbing-related dramas, and the impact this is having on your life in general. The customer service is direct and to the point. How many drains are clogged? Where are you located? That is it. You will receive a call back with some timeframes and you are on your way to having your drain(s) cleared, and moving on with your life, which brings me to my next point. 2) All they do are drains. They do not give plumbing advice, fix your shower head or replace handles on your tub. They keep it simple, and this keeps the price down. As an added note, when the only service you provide is drain clearing, there is no opportunity create or find additional problems that result in an additional charges (please see ridiculously inexpensive, below) And finally 3) My technician worked tirelessly to unclog the drains in my bathroom, was completely successful, and I have not had a problem since. If I did have a problem with any of the other drains in my house, I would call them right away. If that problem happened on a weekday instead of a weekend, it would be even less expensive, which is ridiculous, because the weekend rates are already approaching ""we wound our prices back to the 1940's menu"" status. Or at least what I remember of the 1970's. Obviously I tipped well. A very strong recommendation for a very specific service.
