I'd give 1 million stars if there would be an option!!! Tyler is above and beyond excellent! Had to install a water heater which got broke after 17 years and two other plumbers (who had a great reviews on Yelp, btw...would never put my trust in the reviews ever again) - came over and gave me estimates of $1,250 and said the part got rusted, cost $228 to replace. Talal, owner of Expert Plumbing was the Nightmare Experience (have to applaud for picking a name for what should be called Most Horrible!) . He had guts to send me the estimate for water heater+replacement =$2,258.85 and told me it'll take two men to do the job. I went on line and bought Bradford White from supplyhouse.com for $600 with free shipping and no sale tax. And was lucky to open Scotts Valley newspaper to find George Allen & Sons Plumbing! Got the estimate over the phone for $300 and the part to replace was only $50 not $228. All in all, the cost came at $1,000 total, not $2,258.85 with $100 discount (what a JOKE!!) that Mr. Rooter and Talal with ""expert"" plumbing wanted to get from me. That's over double the actual cost! Tyler was SUPER efficient, I Wowed when I saw how clean he left everything behind..even took a box of a new heater with him which I was going to cut in pieces and dump. Saved a lot of work for 58yo woman! Best experience with a truly HONEST right in my town company! Can't thank you enough and already told my friends never waste any time on calling other plumbers - unless you want to get scammed for money. Thank you so much for your work, Tyler!!! Will be waiting for another job to give you in a heart bit!!!

Very happy with the service. Worked with Tyler and they gave me a quote on the phone and were able to do the work the same day. Their quote was much lower than three others I checked with. The great thing about it was the actual cost was lower than the low end of the quote. They were able to do same day service. I would highly recommend them.

We've used George Allen & Sons Plumbing for nearly 23 years since buying our home. In fact, the previous owners (29 years) also used them. Jon and Butch are our go-to plumbers. Jon has 45 years experience. They arrive on time, are competent and friendly. We've had them do everything from fix leaks, clear small AND large clogs, install hot water heater, garbage disposals, bathroom vanities/undermount sinks and fixtures, toilet, refrigerator water line, leaking sprinkler system....you name it! They've never failed to get the job done right. And they'll come back (no charge, of course) if there's a continuing issue and GET it right. We highly recommend this longtime, family-run plumbing business.

Very highly recommended. And I don't do that very often. These guys got me out of a jam, my tankless water heater stopped working after the memorial day weekend. They stepped up to the plate, found a replacement and had it installed the very same day. ALL of this at a really reasonable price! Tyler was extremely polite and professional, very easy to work with. I can't say it enough, if you have plumbing needs give these guys a call.

Tyler Allen was imperative to helping set up our grey water system. We had consulted with multiple landscapers who were grey water specialists, but they were not plumbers. We felt uncomfortable having the landscapers set up the actually plumbing aspect of the grey water system. It was difficult to find a plumber with any knowledge of grey water, until we found Tyler. He is incredibly knowledgeable about grey water systems, friendly, and did an excellent job. For anyone interested in grey water I recommend you start with Tyler Allen, then have the landscape grey water specialists dig the mulch basins and complete the hook up to the plants.

I have heard good things about these guys so I am sorry that they really messed up. Tyler came out on Wednesday to fix a broken pipe.He recommended I have him place a temporary pipe from the meter to the house until I found some one to dig a trench for a new pipe. I told him the family is on vacation and the plants will all die and they don't want to come home after a vacation to a house with no water. He said ""I will put the temporary hose on"" . I said Fine and left. I then called him that afternoon and said They will be back Sunday so it needs to be done before that. ""I will have it done before the end of the week"" He says. Thursday night still nothing, so my wife and I haul 30 gallons of water over in buckets to water the plants. Call Friday, did not return message. Call again Friday afternoon, still did not return call. I will go over and fix this myself for these people and will check to find out what happened. I think this company is good but stay away from Tyler. Of course there may be a good excuse but they should have called.
