We needed a plumber to fix a couple of leaking shower heads and a clogged bathroom sink. Butch showed up on time and did a fantastic job looking at all the issues I showed him and fixing everything. He was friendly and patient with all of my questions. It took him around an hour to fix 3 separate issues and the price was reasonable for the work he did.

I would definitely call them again if I need a plumber.

Very happy with George Allen and Sons! I called regarding my leaky kitchen faucet and was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. Tyler came out this morning, and noted that there was evidence of a previous leak. He diagnosed the issue as the valve of the reverse osmosis faucet. He described next steps and didn't charge for this visit. This is my new local plumber!

The tenant at my mother's place had a toilet problem and I had to find a plumber for the first time in this area. I called three places, and these folks came through with no hassle at a reasonable price. They came early in the 2 hour window and we had no problems arranging payment so I did not have to be present. The other big national chain had online appointment template that didn't work and their estimate was more than double what Allen & Sons charged.

Showed up on time (to the minute). The job was harder than I explained and I had to remove drywall so that he could get proper access. He came back later in the day to finish the job even though I know everyone is slammed with business right now. The price was very fair all things considered. This is my new local plumber!

Hot water not working properly since heating contractor installed new furnace. Called George Allen & Sons, they walked me through adjusting the temperature over the phone, saving me the cost of a service call. I have used this company before and they have always provided excellent service at a fair price. Highly reccommend.

Needed a new water heater. Below is the pro and cons of my experience in dealing with this company.

Pros:
-Responsive
-Call back in a reasonable amount of time. Installation time was not too far out considering that we just had the CZU fire.
-Good local reputation.
-Was able to work in a cramped area for installation of my water heater. -Removed a cabinet and a water heater support to install the water heater.
-Worked very quickly.
-Good installation.
-Wore a mask.
-Sent a credit card receipt after completion of the work.


Cons:
-Was not able to select any particular brand or no ability to purchase a water heater with a longer warranty period. Was only able to get a water heater with a 6-year warranty. Would of preferred to buy a more premium water heater with at least a 10-year warranty.
-Water heater support was put back and blocks the pilot start/water temp control.
-Did not reinstall my cabinet after installation of the water heater.
-The price was higher than others businesses that I called. About 20% higher.


Will I use them again? Yes. Would I recommend them? Yes. If you are watching your budget, I would not recommend them. If you want quality, reliability and a good reputation, then I would say that they are a business you should consider. You do get what you pay for!

I have some plumbing that needs to get completed on the house, but will delay the work till Covid threat is minimized.

Butch is the man!!!! He has come to our home to diagnose and fix a few plumbing issues we have had. He was able to come out quickly and always got the job done right. I am so thankful and highly recommend them.
