Rheem water failure has a big problem, so warranty referred us to Gennaro's Plumbing company. They are unprofessional, Patricia doesn't return the phone call when she says she will. In fact, she says she will call you back just to get you off the phone, but never calls back! Frank is the reason our water heater STILL isn't fixed. They came out once and ordered a part and never came back. I'd have a four hour window that a technician was supposed to show up and I'd hang around the house and they would never call or show up. When I called Frank to tell him this is unacceptable, he said he could make me another appointment for another day. NO THANKS! Do NOT use this company if you actually want your water heater repaired professionally!

I gave them 1 star in order to review. Otherwise, they do not deserve any starts at all. Gennaro's Plumbing was referred to me by my home warranty, Old Republic. Because I trust that these home warranty companies do their research on who they send out to their customers, I did not check Gennaro's Plumbing's review, which I should have. Everything you see on this Yelp review is TRUE. Patricia never return calls. They say ""you will hear from us by the end of the day"" and NOTHING. Finally, after 7 days of waiting, I called my home warranty and told them that they do not call back like they promise and they cashed my $60 WITHOUT doing any work at all. I requested my work order to be transferred to another plumbing company. The 2nd plumbing company was WONDERFUL. Problem was fixed within 30 minutes. Gennaro's Plumbing told us they would order a part which would take 7-10 business days. Well, as of today (a little over 2 weeks now, Gennaro's Plumbing hasn't called me just to say that they didn't get the part or that they will come and fix my toilet. They have communication issues and that is something successful business have, which Gennaro's Plumbing does NOT HAVE. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They take your money and run WITHOUT doing any work. Customers beware! I am surprised they haven't been sued yet.

This Place is the worst place to deal with. Patricia Is Horrible to work with. THey dont return any phone calls. The technicians are lazy and Liars!! They didnt complete the work and said they did. They told my roomate they would come back and fix the valve in my shower and when I called to see what the problem was, they said they couldnt fix it and cancel my request with the home warranty company. If you want quality plumbing do not contact Gennaros. There is a reason they do not have any good reviews!!! Horrified

Service tech showed up and left after 10 minutes. He said he would be back but never returned. He Didn't even look under the house. Home warranty said he was there over 55 minutes and that we have to have a hazmat. Do not use this plumber!

Do not EVER use this ""company"" they are unprofessional to an extreme! Our water heater broke 2 months after they ""fixed"" it when we called on Monday they said they would send someone out on Friday between 10 to 1. So 1:00 pm rolls around and no plumber so we call the rude and honestly awful woman says she going to call them and get back to us. 6 HOURS later still no call so we call her back she then says someone will be out between 9:30 to 10:30 PM and still no one shows up! We talked to a man who was nice enough and said they would send someone the next morning and they would call first the next morning no call and no bleeping plumber! Call and again it's the vile woman who says I called you didn't answer so I sent him home! Really even if she had called you only call once! I asked for a supervisor to which she refused when I then ask for her name she says NO then hangs up on me. When you guys inevitable go out of business remember you dug your own grave with poor customer service and crap plumbers who don't fix things right the first time. Enjoy bankruptcy!

I've been waiting for service for a week. I have to use them because of my home warranty. They lie and don't call back when they say they will. They said they called at 1pm but my phone has no evidence of a call. Patty said she would call me back in 5 minutes. I called back an hour later and she said ""oh, they didn't call you?"". I'm still waiting for them. Do NOT use them. I'm forced to but I'm going to call the home warranty company and get someone else. The previous review is correct. They lie and are unreliable.

Horrible service....if you call that service! I got taken for money shame on me for not researching them first. Will never do business with them again. I'll learn to plumb before I open my doors to them again.

DO NOT USE THEM!! They are a scam! I got referred to Gennaro's through my home warranty Old Republic. I called on a Friday to schedule an appt. for my leaking water heater. No call back for 5 days and they finally came a week later. When the tech came out he was very friendly. Took a look at the water heater and he told me ""wow I can't believe this water heater hasn't exploded. I can tell there's been several leaks and there's a lot of corrosion. This definitely needs to be replaced."" I asked him how long until we could install a new one and he said by Tuesday the following week and he was gonna call it in to my home warranty and that shouldn't be a problem. SURPRISE SURPRISE I get a call a few hours later from my home warranty stating they are denying my claim. They said GENNAROS reported my water heater to be working just fine and no need to have it replaced. What a f'ing JOKE!!!

My Rheem water heater had a fail after one week. It was Saturday and their Tech support said the earliest they could get a plumber out was Monday (today) but that they had confirmed the plumber (Gennaro's) had the part necessary to fix the issue. So I called Gennaro's this morning and asked for an approx time to expect a plumber and the lady said she would contact her guys and get back to me. 2 hours later I called again and she said her guys haven't called her back yet. I called 3 hours later and she said they still haven't called her. I had just checked the Yelp reviews, so I mentioned that she was confirming what many reviewers on Yelp had said about them. She said that people only go to Yelp to give bad reviews. I told her that I understood that can be a problem with Yelp but that most companies will have at least a couple positive reviews even if they are fakes. She said Gennaro's isn't interested in social media. She said she would try to call her guys again. Shortly after that her guy called me and was immediately upset that I had mentioned Yelp to her. He said Yelp is a piece of shit. He told me he is very backed up and can't get to me for a couple weeks and I can't expect him to drop everything to take care of me. I asked him why they told Rheem that they could do the job today. He said if Rheem talked to someone on Saturday it would have been the cleaning lady because they don't work on weekends. He was very rude and told me I should get someone else to take care of my problem.

So I called Rheem back and let them know the situation. They called Collier Plumbing and John from Collier was out in less than a half-hour and fixed the problem in 5-10 minutes. I don't understand why a company as big as Rheem would depend on slackers like Gennaro's.

There are no words for the lack of respect this company shows their clients. Absolutely they worst ever. Call the Plumbing Specialists instead. They are there when you need them, and the lines of communication are open. Their techs give out their cell phone numbers so you can call anytime you need them. Gennaros obviously doesn't want or need any business. Stay away.
