The worst company in the area. Sent out by home warranty , spent 15 minutes then said have to get test equipment from shop right back. Then a big no show and then sent report back warranty company not covered, Scammers , do not let these people on property evet!!!

1 star because there is not option for ZERO star. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DONT EVEN THINK OF CALLING THEM. This company was assigned to my case by American home shield. My water heater has a leak from the bottom. Frank or franco whatever his name was, came out and assessed. I called back AHS for an update, and was told that the claim has been DENIED as the vendor stated there was rusting to my water heater due to the exposure to rain water. This is COMPLETELY FALSE, my water heater in the the garage on the first floor of my 2 story home. It is impossible for rain water to have any contact to my water heater. Luckily, AHS will send another vendor for a second opinion. I will be writing to AHS regarding this company and for them to be taken out of their vendor list.

If and when you see that your Home Warranty Company has assigned you to this Contractor, IMMEDIATELY request to be provided a different one. Contractor had no intention of performing any work since their MODUS is to create a fictitious assessment and present to the Warranty Company, which in turn will reject the claim.

Lo and Behold, your trade fee is done and they get paid regardless. The Policy is if the contractor shows up, farts for a second, and they never do any work, they get paid and your trade fee is gone.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY --- you have been forewarned!

This vendor was hired by my home warranty. They scheduled a 4-hour window but were an hour late past that time because their driver got lost and had no cell reception. The scheduler said they would have the driver reach out and call me which never happened. They cancelled my service without updating me that they were no longer coming until I had to reach out to them multiple times for updates. I took off work for 4hrs and had no service so I am warning others to stay away from this vendor and called my American Home Shield warranty to remove them from their list of plumbing vendors. Very unhappy with how they handled this situation! They should've been sending me updates instead of false promises. They shouldn't have taken this job if they don't have decent cell phone reception in my area.

We had to schedule an appointment with Genarro's plumbing Inc., because our home warranty scheduled with them. However, we scheduled on Friday for the following Thursday. 30 minutes prior to them being at our house, they called and canceled due to overbooking. This is something they should've known a day or 2 prior. My husband had already taken off the day of work. Calling 30 minutes before is unacceptable. Then they offered that their next available opening wouldn't be until Monday. We have a leak in our pipes in garage, so again waiting 4 more days was unacceptable once again. I had to call our home warranty and start a new work order for a different plumber. Very inconvenient.

If I could give 0!star, I would. Terrible company. I got connected to them through my home warranty company (old republic home warranty). Called them twice on Monday and Tuesday to confirm my appointment which they did confirm. On the day of the appointment, Thursday, about 3 hours before, they called up and said that they had a scheduling error. And when I asked how did they have this error. The lady over the phone tells me that she found the error when she turned on the computer today. Does that mean the previous few days of the week, the computer was not turned on? What's worse, in order to shirk responsibility, she said I can always call my warranty company to schedule another plumber. What kind of customer service is this. I really wonder how are these people still in business.

The reviews do not lie. Stay away from them.

This is a joke of a company. They call the Home warranty company and make up lies to make it seem like we are the problem and not them. Not sure how this company keeps getting contracts from First American home Warranty. Legal action should be taken by now. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!

Unfortunately similar to the 100+ other reviews on here, we had a bad experience with this vendor who was contracted by Home Warranty of America to service a leak.

From reading the other reviews on here, it's becoming apparent is that HWA continues to contract this company for their high rate of rejecting home warranty claims. If HWA were in the business of appropriate customer service and satisfaction, they would work to use credible vendors that are diligently trying to solve the homeowner's issue as opposed to either doing the bare minimum or just issuing an outright claim denial.

Our claim with HWA was filed for an upstairs bathroom leak which was coming down into the kitchen ceiling ( see photos). HWA contracted Gennaro's Plumbing.

- Plumber performed a visual inspection of an upstairs toilet. Used no levels, measuring device or even attempted to flush the toilet to replicate the leak or find the source.

- Gennaro's exact written notes to HWA ""tHE PLAN HOLDER DOES NOT HAVE AN EXSISTING PIPE LEAK THE SOUND SHE HEARS IS DUE TO EXPANTION OF PIPES NO LEAK FOUND TILE TO FLOOR ISSUE WE DO NOT DO FLOORING""

In short, the claim was denied because no leak was found and this was described as a flooring issue by the plumber...

Needless to say we're extremely disappointed in both Home Warranty of America for contracting such a disreputable plumber and also Gennaro's for their lack of effort and complete refusal to admit that a leak exists.

Disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Waited a week for an appointment for descaling service on tankless water heater. I called morning of appt (10/15/20) to confirm the 3 hour appt time window to only be told that they are not sure if they are coming because they did not receive product to do descaling. I asked her why they did not call me prior to the appt. so I would not miss work. She had no answer for that nor did she care. Terrible customer service, no accountability.
