Had the plumber come in last week and told us he was there to check on the faucet when we reported for the garbage disposal to First American. Anyways, he told my wife that it will need to be replaced will be back next week. No calls, nothing from them or warranty company.
I decided to call them to find out when they are coming out and was told they are waiting for authorization. Called FA and they said it was denied because I had something stuck in there which was not able to remove and it caused the leak in the disposal.
When asked the plumbing company why it was this not said to us when you were inspecting it and I was told it was something between the insurance and them and not to be discussed with the customers. Fine.
My question is how did he know I had a something stuck in there (report say plastic bottle cap) without even looking into the the disposal? He was under sink and never took the disposal out at all. There is no way to see what he reported which is ""plastic cap stuck in the blades"" from under there.
I taking off the disposal later today and dismantling it on video to see and have prove it if is actually there.
And here I am dining out and not using the sink thinking they are going to call back to replacement. No courtesy at all on both First American and Gennaro's. Who do I send the bill for 1 weeks meal for 3?
Anna B.STAY AWAY! This plumber is shady, lies, and just a straight up crook. Came to check my leak on a Friday, by Saturday him and the warranty company agreed it should be repaired under warranty. Never calls to schedule Monday so I call, they lie about never being contacted by the warranty company, they send it again and they lie again and say it hasn't been received and snap at me to just wait until they call me. Mind you I still have a water leak. I call the warranty company to complain and they try to schedule it and suddenly inform me that the plumber says it never should have been approved because it's a leak I've had for at least 3 weeks. Was able to prove he lied with a home inspection report. So stay far away because he just wants your money for the initial inspection and then will try to get away with doing no work.
Jamillah D.Run! They never showed up. Told the home warranty company they tried several times to reach me. I have no clue as to how they work, but I made at least 5 calls to them with no one responding.
Avoid if possible. Unprofessional and laughed at me because I had a simple problem. Turned out they were wrong about the issue a new plumber had to come and fix.
This is absolutely the worst company with whom I have ever come into contact. The business does not even deserve one star. They were referred to me through my home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. The ""plumber"" that was sent to my home
1. stated that he could not repair the leak under my sink because the pipe was too short. This is the same pipe that has been under my kitchen sink since before I bought my home in 2001.
2. claimed that there was nothing wrong with the water pressure to my home; however, I could not take a shower and use any other faucet in the house at the same time.
3. said that in order to clear the shower drain he would have to go onto the roof.
I contacted Redlands Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning dba Henry Bush Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning after the scam artist Genaro Plumbing sent to my home left. The professional they sent to my home took care of all of my plumbing issues.
My home warranty company (First American) sent these clowns to my home twice. They are a joke please call FA and have them reassign you to a different company. They will make excuses not to come back onsite. I called FA and they reassign the plumber to a real company. The next day the new company came out and fixed my slab leak in a few hours with a reroute.
Kim R.Started this process on April 11, they came for the first appointment. I will say the actual plumber was a nice guy fixed one toilet but for the other, he said he sent a picture to FAHW for review to replace....never heard anything. Called Gennaro for an update they said they never received any correspondence from the warranty company. Called the warranty company and they never received the photos. So they set up an appointment for me with these plumbers. 4/25/17 The plumbers never showed. Called Gennaro ""we didn't have a work order #: we called to tell you we couldn't do that appt."" (No they didn't) called warranty again they issued a recall and a new work order number set up another appt for 4/27/17 didn't show didn't call. Called them again ""they had a problem with another call"" rescheduled for this morning 5/1/17. Never showed never called. Called them up the lady on the phone said our technician called and left a voicemail at 10:30 you never responded. I have zero missed calls zero voicemails. My husband has zero calls zero voicemails. Called first American home warranty and demanded a new plumber. This is ridiculous and abhorrent customer service. The woman said these things happen. No they really don't.
Ron C.Tried them again for another plumbing job. I went back and forth all week with Patricia trying to schedule a toilet installation but later told by John that they were busy with water heaters and short-handed and suggest I try someone else. So if you need non-water heater service, its best to go elsewhere.
I agree this company is pathetic. My home warranty company sent them out April 12 for my water heater. We discussed what was needed (a new water heater as mine is 41 years old and corroded and leaking) and was told I could ask for a payout or he would try to expedite First American Home Warranty's purchase. I live on a hill in a canyon and told the gentleman we do have rattlesnakes so he does need to keep watch. When he left he said I had to pay the $65 co-pay so I gave him a check. This is the first time I have been told the payment needed to be paid up front and thought it was odd, but gave him the check anyway. He said he would be back at the office within an hour and would order the hot water heater as soon as he arrived at the office. Fast forward to Monday, April 17, I received a call from First AM and they said another company would be coming on Tuesday, April 18. I advised them Gennaro's had already been out and they ordered the water heater. I asked when it would be ready for Gennaro's to install. First AM said Gennaro's cancelled the work as ""rat droppings"" were evident and that contributed to the corrosion, there was no leakage, I had a dirt road and they had to park on the street (all lies), and it was rattlesnake season so they were not coming out. I checked my bank and they did VERY quickly cash my check! I told First AM they needed to remove this company from their contractor list as they were liars and I had already paid them and the check was cashed.
I also thought Home Warranty companies checked their contractors and obviously this was a mistaken assumption. In the future I will check the contractor through Yelp and ask for another contractor if they have poor ratings.
Brian H.The garbage disposal they installed sucks. The rubber drain catch always falls into the disposal. Drives me crazy. Quick labor, cheap products.
