They were sent by AHS, the guy came out and said he needed a cherry picker to get on the roof and service my plumbing and he would send someone in 30 minutes. Two hours later I called Patricia and she said they couldn't get on the roof since they didn't have insurance and had to cancel the call. WHY did the guy not tell me that when he was here! Instead, he lied and left me hanging. I wasted an additional 2 hours (24 hours up to this point) with no toilets working. Dishonest, incompetent, and evil. I think Gennaro means screw you in Italian. :(

These guys came out last week to look at something included in our home warranty. First off the plumber was rude to my mother who was waiting all day for him to arrive, which of course was late outside of the quoted arrival time. He proceeded to tell my mom that the service was not covered by the warranty and left. He of course stated not only said it wasn't covered but when we offered to pay for something we already had confirmed with the home warranty was covered he said he didn't have any parts. He was sure to ask for the $75 warranty fee. We called back the warranty company and they confirmed again that the service was covered and the plumber was wrong to not complete the job. So they rescheduled another appointment with this same company. Big shocker, we have a follow up appointment today he never showed up for.

DO NOT EVER USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! I was scheduled for an appointment (water heater warranty) Monday from 10-2. They didn't show up so I called and they said the guy on call wasn't returning her calls or texts. She said would call me back as soon as could. She didn't. I called back and after no technician Patricia said she would reschedule for next day. I told her I was not available between 10-2 she said she understood and would accommodate. I called Rheem the manufacturing company and they called her. She told them she scheduled a technician to be there between 11-3 which is a lie because she told me after 5. This is the worst company ever! I have been 5 days without a working water heater and they don't care. If your insurance or heater company selects them quickly as for someone else. THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND LIE TO YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

Gennaro's Plumbing is crooked. The plumber has this whole scam worked out. See they partner with different contractors based on referrals and commission for Gennaro's, the plumber came out and collected his 100.00 fee for just coming out. He did absolutely nothing, then told me that He cannot perform the work due tot the mold, it wasn't safe for him, he referred me to Clear Coast restoration who assured me that they would get the claim approved through my home owners insurance by ripping out the water damage below the sink without allowing the adjustor to inspect it first. Thus committing me to the job regardless, no estimate was given prior to since they assured me that the claim would be approved. Even though I told both the plumber and Clear Coast the damage was from a previous leak, which was still very minimal, they didn't care they said they could get it approved. Guess what it's not approved, it has been over 90 days, half of my kitchen cabinets are missing and sitting in front of my fireplace and my countertop under my sink area is being held up by stilts, which cannot hold the weight from the countertops, so my counter is sinking in certain areas. To top it all off, I was sent a bill for this disaster by Clear Coast for 3500.00, after the claim was denied. Thanks to Gennaro's for the living nightmare you referred me to...I hope you @$#&% on it and @#$@%!

Company was dispatched by Rheem to do warrenty service on my non working water heater...after 4 days no hot water they finally called me at work and said they would be there in half hour ... I confirmed I would leave and meet them.... They showed up early and left. The owner then told me they would not be coming back and to get someone else !! Very ride and would not recommend them !!!

So Old Republic Home Warranty company referred Genneros (should be generics) for a leaky faucet in my bathtub and we scheduled for between 12:00PM and 4:00PM, I had to take off from work to be there. A tech showed up at 10:30AM and my sick daughter who was not aware of this issue only a different issue with dishwasher let him in, he looked in the bathroom said nothing wrong, you gonna pay me and my daughter told him he needed to get with me. He left. I called them and they assured no problem and they would send someone back. I called 6 times between 12 and 8PM and they kept saying tech still on another job and promised they would be here. No one ever came or called. My faucet still dripping!! DO NOT USE THIS
COMPANY!!

Had them come out to do warranty work on a hot water heater they were late on the first appointment and of course they did not fix the problem called them to come back out and actually fix the problem set an appointment they were a no call no show called them back was given a lame excuse do not use this company

Don't waste your time or money. I have AHS as my insurance and the sent them out for my slow draining sink. I explained to him that I already had a plumber out the day before and they used a snake in attempt to clear the line to no avail. Then they used a camera and couldn't find any stoppage. I also informed him that no other drains had a problem. He took the plunger to the sink and the water went down, but when the water was turned back on, it was slow to drain again. He told me it was probably a pipe shared with my neighbor and that he would have to submit a report to AHS. I checked the status a little latter and it had been closed out and my deductible was pending. When I called AHS and complained, they called the plumber and he told them my neighbor wasn't an AHS customer so he couldn't fix it or it may be in the roof. He never even asked if my neighbor was a customer. There's a good reason they only have a one star rating, because you have to give at least one.

This company was assigned to my claim by First American Insurance after I expressed my concerns about another contractor with terrible reviews. I decided to turn a blind eye to all the reviews posted on Yelp and give them a chance. This contractor first lied when he told the insurance company my current claim was an existing condition, I asked the insurance company, how did he know that? he stated that I told him that. I had to turn in my home inspection report so they could see there was no existing condition noted.
They reinstated the claim only to get a quote from the contractor stating he needed to replace 100 feet of galvanized pipe, there is only 45 feet of pipe, confirmed by another two different contractors. The insurance company didn't want to cover the pipe replacement and after several calls agreed to pay for a small portion only.

This guy shows up without an appointment. Patronized me on the phone when I told him he didn't have an appointment. Not flexible at all. I cancelled the appointment before any work was done -- thank goodness.
