They were simply great. It was a big project in my mind but they made it look routine. My project involved a tptal re-pipe of the 40-year old galvanized water pipes to copper, replacing all the old sewage lines with new ABS pipes including the main lateral underneath the house, installing a salt-free water softener and filter, install three new toilets, AND they installed a grey water system that captures all of the shower, tub, and laundry water that goes to the landscaping. I'm hoping I got them to bring the topic of grey water to other customers : ). Drought's not going away anytime soon in California. Genaro and Betty (their call center office) were accessible and responsive. They made all the arrangements for inspections and came back out and took care of whatever was needed. They made the project look easy. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic guys.
I had an almost-emergency situation (in-wall pipe burst, but we shut off the water quickly), Genaro came by for an evaluation in about 1 hour. He had given me a quote and a timeframe for the plumbers to arrive, but then he realized there was a little bit of time before the next evaluation, so he actually repaired the pipe right away.

Five stars for the following reasons

- Their quote for replacing the water supply and drainage pipes beneath my house was 50% of their competitor. Their guarantee was twice as long as their competitor's guarantee. Their bid included sheet rock patching and texturing.

- The business owner himself came to give the quote. He crawled under the house to provide an accurate quote, even though he was wearing slacks & a dress shirt.

- The communication was solid. Their office called and prepped me a few days before the work began. They called the day of to see if I had any concerns or questions. The office was also able to accommodate and execute some last minute changes that I requested.

- The team of 5 that did the work was coordinated and well managed. They arrived on time and ended on time. Each member knew what their job and got right to it. They masked, tarped well, and cleaned after themselves.

I believe in giving credit where it is due and hope this company does well.

Horrible company with horrible service recovery they will try but no one has ever told them in business the customer is always right and that you do not talk to the painter to tell the owner you can not complete the job! Or maybe he did not want to talk to a woman and the painter is a man! Beats me I pay both of them for a service Genmor did not complete the job... Painter still painting!

Awesome plumbers with a very skilled, highly professional staff. We had our whole house repiped and they did a fantastic job- our city inspector said they were hands down the best in the area and did mostly commercial work. Price were also very competitive. Dealing with the secretaries, on the other hand, has been a challenge. Scheduling inspections and finishing the job has been difficult to schedule- if it wasn't for that I'd give them a 5 star rating.

Good quality service on weekends

Last week I was installing a new bathroom sink and vanity. After 2 hr.s of trying to remove a drain waste pipe that developed a leak due to an old corroded pipe, I got into the wall and notices the hot water inlet pipe was resting on the drain pipe. I thought it was causing undue resistance.
I remembered that Genmor repiped my home in 2005' and they gave me a lifetime warranty. So I called them up about 3:30 PM and talked to Betty. She was very helpful. She said she would get hold of Genaro - the owner and explain the problem.
Low and behold Genaro agreed to come out to my house @ 7:00 PM on a Friday afternoon (i.e.the start of the weekend)! I was going away for an extended weekend and he accommodated me!
He arrived right on time. Saw what the situation was. Realigned the hot water pipe, and even removed the old corroded waste drain pipe!! He was done in an hour! I know looking at the old corroded waste pipe that I never would have gotten it out. I didn't have the tools or expertise!
But wait that's not all!! He didn't charge me a cent even though I wanted too!! He saved my weekend!!
That's why Genmor and Genaro get 5 stars from me!!

My experience with Genmor Plumbing was ridiculous. I had a running toilet with water spraying straight up out of the fill valve.
