I decided to go with Genmor plumbing for re-piping my 57 years old house. They did excellent job. The quote was reasonable and the whole staff was very professional. No issues in inspection. Very good experience overall.

HIGHLY questionable. An acquaintance recommended the company to us, so we had high expectations heading in. Genaro, the owner of Genmor, personally went to our home to perform the inspection. After he came by the second time to do a couple measurements, I asked him to explain to me what the problem was, so that I could inform my home insurance agent. He then had the audacity to tell me that he didn't know and asked ME to tell him what the issue was... um... excuse me, but I'm not the plumber here... I thought YOU were?? Aren't you the one licensed in this??

He promised he'd have a full report, documenting his inspection, but later contacted us and said that he ""wasn't interested in doing the job anymore because we had told his assistant to cut contact with another contractor he'd been talking to"" .... wait... what?? what other contractor?? Who have you been talking to with regards to our home?? Why is another contractor involved in this??

His website states:

""No subcontractors: Only licensed Genmor Plumbing, Inc. technicians work on your property. We do not sub out any of our jobs to third party contractors. You only receive high-quality service from our own in-house experts""

.... Clearly you lack integrity, Genaro.

Excellent job, fast, on time and responsible. Thanks Genero and his staff, they worked really hard and well done for my kitchen pipe.

They did complete repiping of our house over a year back as a sub-contract via Repipe Specialist (which a total scam btw). This review was long due but here are some of the interesting highlights -

- as soon as they entered the home, they found 4 things not on contract of ""full Repipe"" and asked for $750 extra.
- when working in crawl space, they found horizontal pipes were already copper. They quietly replaced copper pipes with copper pipes.
- the stucco and patching is so poorly done, like a kid playing with grout. During our bathroom remodeling we found they did not seal it and rain water was leaking inside.
- the whole thing failed two inspection and when I blocked payment for non completion of the work, the owner threatened me with a lien.
- when I mentioned one bathroom shower to have a significantly lower pressure than another, the guy increased whole house pressure to 90psi. The water sprinklers started spraying over the fence and took me two months before I figured that out. It is still slow in that bathroom.

For such work, best to go into details and work with someone who actually does it himself.

Excellent Job..very professional, straight forward and honest people. Genero their boss is straight forward and does not Nickle and Dime....I got my kitchen relocated and renovated...some walls were dropped, 2 bathrooms were renovated...house was re-wired and recess lighting was added. It took 6-7 weeks. During the project...if Genero did not like certain things he changed it himself with out approaching me for additional monies except when the cost of materials was significant. Genero has a nice team .... Abraham who was the main person doing the work was always smiling and was flexible to change things based on my suggestions. Leo the supervisor was always on the site on a very regular basis and understood my requirements well. Again always smiling and joking.

I would also like to say that during my project, Genero the boss went on vacation for 3 weeks, but that did not change the project course or quality. Leo the super managed the project and my expectations very well. I DID NOT HAVE TO CALL GENERO EVEN ONCE.

After the work was completed and I moved in, there were a few minor tasks which were not completed and some required more material which had to be ordered...once all the drain pipes in kitchen and bathroom were blocked....Genero's team (especial mention to Betty who co-ordinates the work for Genero), sent a plumber who reached us in less 90 minutes to our house to fix the drains in another 90 minutes. Further...the few other issues/open tasks after we moved in were fixed promptly.

Genero is very hands on and down to earth person and ready to engage and is realistic.

I am very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

Genmor Plumbing performed a complete re-pipe on my entire home this May 2017. I selected them from 2 other good plumbing outfit but I chose Genmor because the owner took his time to answer all my stupid questions. He is very easy pleasant to talk to. His entire crew from the call center and to all his plumbers and wall finishers are very professional and friendly. Genmor was recommended by one of my long time neighbor because he had his house done about 8 years ago. He was also very happy with the job they performed at his house.

The whole crew was very prompt and ready to go. I was very impressed that they had all my plumbing torn down and re-piped and actually enjoyed taking a nice Hot Shower that same day. They did an excellent job and was very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Genmor Plumbing to all my friends and relatives.

They were simply great. It was a big project in my mind but they made it look routine. My project involved a tptal re-pipe of the 40-year old galvanized water pipes to copper, replacing all the old sewage lines with new ABS pipes including the main lateral underneath the house, installing a salt-free water softener and filter, install three new toilets, AND they installed a grey water system that captures all of the shower, tub, and laundry water that goes to the landscaping. I'm hoping I got them to bring the topic of grey water to other customers : ). Drought's not going away anytime soon in California. Genaro and Betty (their call center office) were accessible and responsive. They made all the arrangements for inspections and came back out and took care of whatever was needed. They made the project look easy. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic guys.
I had an almost-emergency situation (in-wall pipe burst, but we shut off the water quickly), Genaro came by for an evaluation in about 1 hour. He had given me a quote and a timeframe for the plumbers to arrive, but then he realized there was a little bit of time before the next evaluation, so he actually repaired the pipe right away.

Five stars for the following reasons

- Their quote for replacing the water supply and drainage pipes beneath my house was 50% of their competitor. Their guarantee was twice as long as their competitor's guarantee. Their bid included sheet rock patching and texturing.

- The business owner himself came to give the quote. He crawled under the house to provide an accurate quote, even though he was wearing slacks & a dress shirt.

- The communication was solid. Their office called and prepped me a few days before the work began. They called the day of to see if I had any concerns or questions. The office was also able to accommodate and execute some last minute changes that I requested.

- The team of 5 that did the work was coordinated and well managed. They arrived on time and ended on time. Each member knew what their job and got right to it. They masked, tarped well, and cleaned after themselves.

I believe in giving credit where it is due and hope this company does well.
