If you want someone to do a half ass job that you have had to pay them to do MULTIPLE times because they can't fix the problem correctly to begin with, and if you want someone to make the problem worse by not doing something as simple as putting a cap back on want (litetally) shit piled up around and outside of the pipe and then try to tell you that it was because my kid took the cap off (not sure how they thought it was possible that my 9 MONTH OLD managed to do that), and if you want to throw your money away then definitely call gene's sewer ""service"". If it were possible to leave less than 1 star on here I certainly would have. The problem is so bad I had to report them to the better business bureau. If you need sewer service I strongly suggest you call someone that actually knows what the hell they are doing and aren't just out to get your money for doing nothing but creating an even bigger problem.

Clogged washer line. They arrived 1.5 hours after their window of 11-1. No apology. I was terribly sick. Had to call for arrival time. They didn't call or keep me up to date. He offered a $10 discount. Terribly disappointed with lack of apology and overall customer service.

Genes Sewer service saved the day! Very affordable and friendly and awesome service! Justin was here in less than a hr after we called! Plus,we called on a Sunday! And, Best part is now we can run water again without it running over!!!!! I would recommend them over and over!

I had ongoing sewer problems where the sewer would back up in my basement. I had them out several times and in June 2018, they said that I needed to install an outside clean out. The original clean out was in the basement where the sewer was backing up into. So I spent $5000 putting in an outdoor clean out port in the front yard that sticks up out of the ground about 3 feet. It looks unsightly. However the sewer was working again so I ignored that. Then in Feb 2019, the sewer backed up again. I called Gene's and they came out and cleaned it. Eight days later it was backed up again. I noticed it on a Friday night, so I called them first thing Monday morning and left a message. They did not return my call, so I called again Tuesday and they answered and said they couldn't come out until Thursday. They came out on Thursday and cleaned it again and said it was my fault because they pulled a lot of tampons from the sewer. I know those would have been there when they came the first time. They didn't charge me so I ignored his rudeness. When I got home that night, I went down to the basement to wash the cement floor to get the smell out. And after spraying with the hose for 2 or 3 minutes the basement hole was backing up again. I called and left a message and then called again Friday morning only to get a rude response. He was then trying to tell me that he told me last summer there was a problem with the sewer line. Why would I have spent $5000 last summer to not fix the problem. If there was a problem he should have fixed it when the yard was all torn up.

IO've been trying to pay a bill by credit card for a month. I call the number listed, leave mine and nothing happens, no call back. They did, however, send me a bill with a late free.

As for the work, he did a good job, but the charge was about 1/3 above the cost of my regular sewer service.

Gene did a fine job when he was running the place, but it seems his grandson has taken over and the quality of service has suffered a bit.

Paid Gene's to do a clean out for my main sewer line. They charged $285 for a basic clean-out and cited the higher price because I had no exterior clean out, which is still higher then 2 other places I contacted. I went through with their price anyway believing them to be an upstanding company but after 2 weeks it was backing up again. I called them again and they would not honor their previous work and said if I wanted it done again it would be a full charge again. After contacting another company in the area they did the same work for $190 and their technician informed me the reason it was backing up was because Gene's did a poor job and didn't run the snake far enough down the drain. My basement flooded because of the lousy workmanship from Gene's sewer service and when contacted they would not honor the work they had done just 2 weeks prior. Would never recommend Gene's to anyone after this experience.

I had problems with our kitchen sink plugged up, not draining. I called a plumber he worked 4 hrs using a 25 ft snake to no avail. So, I called Genes Sewer Service on Monday. They came out 3 hrs later and fix my problem in 20 mins. Wish I would have called them to begin with. They were also $75.00 cheaper than the other companies. The young men that came out were nice, polite, answered all my questions, and cleaned up. I would diffently recommend them to everyone. And by the way, don't flush Clorox Wipes down the toliet. :)
