After just having relocated to Miami from NY, we knew we needed a generator. The product and services provided by Generator Supercenter were excellent. Their tech Omar is the consummate professional, courteous, knows it all, and is more than a credit to this organization. If you need a generator in South Florida, I would highly recommend them and request Omar!

In this day & age is not easy to get supplies, etc. We ordered generator in late 2021, knowing it would take quite a while because it was special order[diesel;3-phase;400A;etc.]. They worked with my travel schedule and put in underground electrical run from generator to house when I was away and came to do inside work, as needed, while I was home. While we are still waiting for a final/final approval from City[they changed the requirements for the transfer switch at the last minute] the generator and all inside electrical work[ATS, etc] was completed and installation runs[well] since August 2022. We have had one outage and it started up & ran well for 1-2 hours. Shut itself off when power came back! Main thing that differs them from others I asked for quotes is that they do the whole job[survey/permits/electrical/etc.], so you do not have to hire a surveyor & electrician as many other companies I called would require - it makes a big difference, in my opinion. Also, while it has been eight months since generator is operational, they have not pushed for any payment[last 25% is due after final City approval]. Their electricians[& their employees - no outside contractor] were excellent and they were able to work with power live without requiring/waiting for FPL for a disconnect & reconnect[saves time!]. I have recommended them to two neighbors whose installation should be quicker as they are using standard propane units with lower capacity, etc. From what I understand, Generator SuperCenter of Florida is one of the top two Generac dealers in the USA and they do carry inventory of typical units used by most residences. I have owned many generators before on boats[one had two 30KW units], so I am familiar with them - I have looked/inspected Generac unit once it arrived and while it runs - I'm impressed with design/installation, etc. My diesel unit uses a Mitsubishi engine w/ turbo connected to a quality brand generator, etc., so far, so good!

My company signed a contract in June of 2022 to install a generator and propane tank at a residential property. It is now March 2023 and we have yet to receive a permit. At this point, I doubt that the entire issue lies with the City of Coral Gables. The online permit site shows that nothing has been changed since December 2nd. We selected this company because of its size and online reputation but unfortunately, they have not delivered anything but excuses. Our disappointment is beyond measure.

I wanted to install a back-up generator in my house so I did some research on-line including Yelp. I requested quotes from three different companies. The proposal from Generator Supercenter was significantly less than the other two because the design of the proposed solution was the most efficient and met all of my requirements. I also wanted a one-stop-shop company that could sell, permit, install and service the equipment in the future. So based on the proposal and scope of services I choose Generator Supercenter. I'm very happy that I did it. Isack and Carlos are very professional and their team executed the project on budget, on time and always with a friendly attitude. I'm 100% satisfied with the equipment and the installation. I highly recommend Generator Supercenter.

Very dissatisfied with the sales/installation process of Generator Supercenter of Broward and would not recommend them to anyone. It all started with the salesperson when he did not tell me exactly where the generator had to go according to code and when I finally found out it was too late. Installer told me that he was sorry but this is where it's got to go. Second thing was that I was told 90-100 days for them to complete the job. It took them 155 days to finally finish with very little communication. They would make appointments that were not kept and twice I was told there was going to be a county inspection and they just forgot to order one. For this inconvenience I did receive an """"I'm sorry."""" From Carlos. Which brings me to the most important part which is the cost. My generator sits 3 feet from the gas meter and my FPL meter is 8 feet away and for this I was drastically overcharged. Carlos told me he was going to take my complaints to upper management and he would call me back. He never called me back. I was overcharged, misinformed and toyed with the installation and permitting process so I have to give a one-star review only because there is no such thing as a zero-star review. Be careful and get other quotes from other companies because these people will rip your wallet out with a smile. Never again! Marco Gonzalez

I highly recommend Generator Supercenter. I've been using them to maintain my old generator from the previous homeowner. The office is responsive and follows up. My technician (Serge) was very professional and thorough. He took the time to explain everything and the reason why. I will also use them, when it is time to replace my Generator. I wish all contractors were this good!
