This is to express appreciation for the outstanding level of professionalism, knowledge and skill demonstrated by Yevgeny Dubinsky in performing his duties as a general contractor and developing a relationship with customers that is built on trust, understanding, cooperation, and outstanding service.

I had the opportunity to meet with Yevgeny from General SF, one of the principals of the company, and he was able to inspect my home in San Francisco. The work done by Yevgeny in the inspection process was thorough, customer-service oriented, and knowledgeable with respect to construction and San Francisco city guidelines and regulations.

The first thing that is important is the customer-service orientation that was demonstrated by Yevgeny. He made me feel comfortable and like I was a valued customer from the moment that we met. As he maintained this relationship with me, he was able to go systematically through the home and knowledgably point out anything that needed to be done to improve on the home in certain areas. Throughout this process, he made me feel comfortable, appreciated, and valued as an individual.

The knowledge that he demonstrated was in all areas of general contracting. He was able to discuss with me every specific aspect of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and any and all other matters related to improvements and construction so as to comply with San Francisco city and county guidelines to put the home in perfect condition. The knowledge was appreciated and gave me a great deal of confidence in going forward with those improvements that were necessary to make sure that the home was satisfactorily taken care of and cared for.

The communication skills demonstrated by Yevgeny were also something that was very impressive. In addition to being able to communicate clearly and precisely on any questions that were asked, he always had a tone that made me feel that my questions were reasonable and that he wanted to be helpful in answering them. That ability to communicate and answer questions exactly on point and then respond only to those things that are asked for is something that I greatly appreciated in his communication skills and style.

Again, I want to thank you for the opportunity of dealing with such an outstanding person as Yevgeny Dubinsky. In over 40 years, I have rarely found anyone with the knowledge, skill, and customer-service orientation that this outstanding individual has as he works for his company, General SF. I would recommend anyone to deal with Yevgeny Dubinsky and General SF as an outstanding general contractor to address and resolve any and all issues that might arise. Thank you again.

Yevgeny was so helpful recently when the power
Went out in the bedroom. He came as quickly as possible the same day we contacted him, and fixed the problem at 8PM

We recently had Yevgeny come out to fix an outlet that shorted out because someone else did it incorrectly years ago. Yevgeny was quick to respond to our initial request, and was very thorough in his repairs, walking us through the whole process and explaining in great detail what needed to be fixed. We were so thankful that he was able to help us fix the issue quickly as we needed to have electricity in one of the rooms in order to work remotely. He also provided us a fair price for his work. We would be happy to request his services again in the future, as it is clear he is very knowledgeable about the work, and was a pleasure to work with!!

One of the tenants in my in-law's rental property was complaining that the dryer Yevgeny helped me install wasn't working. I called him and he immediately came out to check out the dryer to make sure it was operating correctly.

After inspecting and checking the calibration of the dryer, he found that the dryer is working to manufacture's specifications and immediately let me know. So now I can go back to the tenant and tell them that the dryer is operating correctly.

When I asked Yevgeny to send me the bill, he said not to worry as his goal was to make sure that the unit was operating correctly! What a pleasant surprise! He was my go-to electrician, but with service like that - there is no need to look for anyone else.

Wow, you just won't relent, ha?! Russian language has nothing to do with the fact that you've lied about each and every thing in your response! I DID give you my phone number and provided my address, I CORRECTED the wrong address you sent me after waiting countless hours for you to arrive! I DID call you and left vm's asking when you'll arrive for the appointment and sent you e-mails! And for the record, someone who respects privacy, won't divulge someone else's home address in retaliation for a negative review that is fully deserved! Your previous response was removed by Yelp because it was found in violation of Yelp's privacy policy or did you forget that you had disclosed my full address in your reply?! I would suggest that instead of lying, distorting facts, making sad excuses, and failing to take any responsibility for your conduct, you focus on what you could have done differently! I understand that contractors are people and people get busy; that's fine. That is precisely why I had asked you when you'd like to come for an estimate. You had picked the date and the time and if you couldn't make it, all you had to do is to let me know either via phone or e-mail! You didn't and wasted hours of my time in vain! Then you had the nerve to lie about the circumstances of what had taken place repeatedly and post my personal information without my consent or any relevance to the real issue! Grow up! Bullying, harassment, and retaliation have no place in a public space!

Yevgeny is a miracle worker. My kitchen sink was completely backed up and he fixed it so well it's like it's a new sink. He took his time, staying late into the night, and made sure the problem was 100% solved. He also fixed my loose toilet seat without me even asking! He was is so kind and professional. He wore a mask and gloves and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely call Yevgeny again if I have any problem. I highly recommend him. Thank you General SF!!!!!

Excellent customer service from Yevgeny for the replacement of an outdoor light. Even when the light we purchased was defective, he came back and assisted us in installing a new one which he was able to provide. He also had many helpful suggestions on how we could improve the lighting in our home in the most cost effective way possible and was very pleasant to interact with. Would definitely recommend!!!

I love working with contractors like Yevgeny. I was initially impressed with how he went out of his way to coordinate with my busy schedule. Once he was here, he quickly and carefully took care of my tasks in the time estimated, and, helped me sort out a few other things to boot. Tried for over a month to schedule a walk thru and get an estimate. I emailed/called and he responded with a text. Then I emailed as requested and he said that he would call back. He never returned my call. I texted to follow up - no response. I called again and he said to email the plans again and then call him on Tuesday after he had time to review our plans. Called today and he said that he would call back in 20 mins to review the job. He never called back. Terrible customer service. This is a fairly big project. Incredibly unprofessional!
